They will get away with it. A Republican in the same situation would be demanded to stop his/her campaign immediately.

NYT playing around the edges of the “Clinton Global Shakedown Initiative” for no other reason than they can say “we went there and there is no there, there”

The NYT will try and put a good spin on any illegal Clinton activity. It’s sickening.

No, I don’t think they will get away with it.

The New York Times, as keeper of The Narrative, occasionally has to tell its devoted readers that, contrary to what was true yesterday, Oceania has always been at war with Eastasia.

Their MO is to break the news gently. Most of their blind followers, believe it or not, have been unaware of the Foundation and the possibility that the FBI may have some interest in its goings-on. Like their recent spate of Biden stories, they are preparing the crowd for bad news.

President Obama, his critics notwithstanding, has run a remarkably scandal-free administration, with few ethical lapses.

How anyone can say this with a straight face is beyond me.

has done a number of good works

The article cites programs on climate change for poor people as a prime example. Wonder who showed up for those?

The opening sentence immediately cancels any credibility in this article.

But, YES, I agree with you completely. :-)

>>> ..... would continue basically as is.

Because both Bill and Hill are so trustworthy in all of their adult lives, we peons should not have questioned their ethics./////

Good luck trying to explain that to Hillary supporters. They only care about their continued welfare checks and more gravy train.

...Mrs. Clinton has suggested that if she is elected, the foundation...would continue basically as is...

Possible conflict??

The Family Crime Foundation is the Clinton cash cow.

The Clinton Foundation runs at over 90% overhead, pays Chelsey Clinton $600k per year to sit in a corner office snapping bubble gum and blowing bubbles.

What could go wrong?

The foundation is a FRAUD and a slush fund, contributing less than 10% to charity.

She already belongs in jail for selling her State Dept. seat for personal gain.

ALBERT R. HUNT thinks there's a ‘possible’ conflict of interest?

Low class white trash Clinton grifers have become multimillionaires by selling access to foreign countries and everyone else who wants a 'favor' for years. And FINALLY THE NEW YORK TIMES NOTICES?.’ Why did it take so long?

New York Times hasn't 'seen' this story is their democrat handlers...( the people who supply their editors with packets of possible news stories to chose between) didn't hand them this one.Grifters? Or just lazy?

The New York Times has their hand out to democrats to fill their paper... not much different...

Oh and ALBERT R. HUNT when those packets are given to editors... Some self serving stories are included intentionally so your puffed up editors can pat themselves on the back for NOT picking the obvious ones. It's a tactic that's been shown to get MORE stories accepted. YOU guys are a joke in the political world. Played like fish.

"“If Bill seeks to raise large sums of money from donors who also have an interest in U.S. policy, the public will rightly question whether the grants affected United States foreign policy,” said Stephen Gillers, a legal ethics expert at New York University School of Law."

The very same logic applies with Hillary as SoS.

Hillary will have a ready made money laundering operation if she gets in for sale to the highest bidder.

The Clintons have raised organized crime to an art form.

Yeah.

It did some good works. Equals 10% of what is received.

The rest paid for Clinton family vacations (er, trips) and staff and goodies and perks and offices ..... And staffers. (er, slaves).

This one statement completely discredits the author of this article.
