What an attitude King has. Basically, King is saying it is our way or the highway for Trump. At one point Dobbs says that King is not a precious little darling of the party. He is here to serve the people. King would have none of it. Trump needs to come to the party elders on his knees and beg for their blessings. This is why we have been getting screwed for decades by conservatives like this. Simply amazing!

Notice, this person, represents US on the judiciary committee... And he has the audacity to preach conservatism... when his guy is NOT even eligible to hold the office of president. These people are revolting.

I am a conservative. Trump reached out to me when he announced his candidacy and enumerated some issues.
I was surprised to hear a “conservative” say yesterday that Trump’s opposition to the current trade agreements was opposition from the left. `
I have always opposed the free trade agreements. “Free trade” is a substitute word for “de-industrialization” of the United States. Straight out of 1984. War is peace. Two and two do not make four.

Steve King is in much the same situation as Ted Cruz- he has to hang onto the single- social issue "evangelicals" to remain at viable, and he apparently feels that being intransigent vis-a-vis Donald Trump is a necessary component. Steve came out for Ted very early and very strongly, something which would have worked out to Steve's advantage if Trump had bombed or Jeb/Marco had done well, but that isn't what happened... and now he has to placate the implacable.
He's great on most things, but Steve isn't perfect. He does not have a lock on his next race, and after reading his remarks, he might - IMHO - want to lose a bit of attitude.

I never liked King. He is one of those that talks tough, but I never remember him getting anything done.
What the idiots in Congress don’t recognize is that there is a new Sherrif in town.

He means that Trump needs to reach out to GOP globalists and their money men.

Rep.(Steve) King: Trump needs to reach out to the conservatives (video) Like sticking your arm into a kennel of angry pit bulls.
