Can’t North Carolina just SELF IDENTIFY as a State that didn’t pass this law? Reality is a secondary concern isn’t it?

Christy Mallory and Brad Sears are queer lawyers, and their “Williams Institute” at UCLA Law is a legal advocacy group for perverts. They wrote a similar “economic impact” paper about Oregon, so this kind of fantasy economic forecasting is old hat.

when a state embraces diversity and its LGBT citizens... they go the way of California.

Principles over dollars, NC - take your pick.

I think they’re talking about things like Paypal, Bruce Springsteen, etc.

(As an aside, I think the Bruce Springsteen cancellation is a blessing for the people of North Carolina. Is there a way that I can get Bruce Springsteen to cancel his Maryland dates?)

Latest Target commercial is totally in Spanish. Guess they don’t want the business of heterosexuals or people who speak English. Won’t set foot in Target again.

Common core morality.

When money is involved your principles will not stand in the way.

Prostitution, gambling, and legalized marijuana would probably make the state a bundle. So why not give them the okay too?

I’m willing to accept that these states might lose some money, especially if the Feds position is upheld in court.

However, I fail to see how a change, supporting the transgender agenda, is going to give them a lot of new net income

the economic advantages that come when a state embraces diversity and its LGBT citizens

Prostitution, gambling, and legalized marijuana would probably make the state a bundle. So why not give them the okay too? Is there no vice so vile you won't trade your soul for it?

“....primarily from the loss of $4.7 billion in funding for public schools, colleges, and universities.”

I guess they’ll have to start cutting departments, such as the ___ studies departments. They’ll also have to cut excess pesonnel like tutors for athletes and all the “remedial” math and English teachers. A lot of administrators, such as the Diversity Office employees, will also have to be dismissed.

The savings could be enormous!

Chick-Fila is doing pretty well despite the liberal boycott because Christians shop there more to support it.

Companies like Paypal stopped business development plans.
The irony is they are still doing business in Saudi Arabia, Iran and other nations where homosexuals are executed.

As sound economists, such as Thomas Sowell, will tell you, there is a cost to everything. There is a cost to passing HB2 and a cost to not passing HB2. The left just wants you to pay attention only to the first.

But the costs of passing this law are likely much LESS than repealing what has been passed.

Let the North Carolina Department of Commerce, Tourism Division know of your intent to show support by your vacationing there.

If lots of people make their show of solidarity a matter of record, it will make a real difference, I believe.

If while passing through N.C. on I-95 I stop & eat lunch at Chick Fil-A, I will write to both the state and the company & tell them why.
