"Public Policy Polling surveyed 1,222 registered voters from May 6th to 9th. The margin of error is +/-3.2%. 80% of participants, selected through a list based sample, responded via the phone, while 20% of respondents who did not have landlines conducted the survey over the internet through an opt-in internet panel."

This is YUGE news. I’ve been watching in horror as the Republican Party has been — in my opinion — squandering its best chance to put a conservative in the White House in 32 years. I’ve been praying I’m wrong.

Go, Trump, Go!

I heard Savage last week say that Dim turnout is down 3 million to Rep. This poll doesn’t carry very much import for me. I believe turnout will be the difference. Nobody is excited on the left, for good reason.

What I find interesting is that Clinton has been underperforming her poll numbers in her primaries with Sanders, losing several where she was leading. Trump, on the other hand, has been over-performing his polls against multiple opponents by an average of about 5 points.

If that pattern holds in the Clinton-Trump match-ups, Trump could be significantly ahead.

I was curious why I did not see the usual grinning faces on TV this morning reciting the latest polls.

Some people have already said that they won’t vote for the
Republican nominee if the eventual nominee is not the man they wanted.

I just want to put something in perspective.

Justice Scalia’s seat is presently vacant. Decisions are being decided with 8 votes. I believe there have been some non-decisions already because of ties. In the case of the U. S. Supreme court, such a split decision, or tie, automatically affirms the decision of the (Appellate) Court beneath it.

We haven’t heard much about this lately because the news cycle is rarely more than 96 hours - unless, of course a drug-abusing entertainer dies, then... But I digress.

Justice Ginsberg is 82 years old
Justice Kennedy is 79
Justice Breyer is 77
Justice Thomas is 67.

Current data shows that the average age of a Supreme Court Justice
retirement or death occurs after 75.

These are 5 vacancies that will likely come up over the next 4-8
years. The next President will have the power to potentially create a
7-2 Supreme Court skewed in their ideology.

Think about that... 7-2. If the next President appoints 5 young
justices, it will guarantee control of the Supreme Court for an entire
generation. And 7-2 decisions will hold up much more over time than
5-4 decisions which are viewed as lacking in mandate.

Hillary has made it clear she will use the Supreme Court to go after
the 2nd Amendment. She has literally said that the Supreme Court was wrong in its Heller decision, stating that the Court should overturn and remove the individual right to keep and bear arms. Period.

Anyone and Everyone who is saying that they won’t vote for one
candidate or the other if they are the GOP nominee, please realize
this.

If Hillary Clinton wins and gets to make these appointments, you
likely will never see another conservative victory at the Supreme
Court level for the rest of your life. Ever.

Whoever is the GOP nominee ... VOTE for the GOP Nominee!

Remember Romney? Three million conservatives who had voted for McCain did not cast a vote for Romney (for whatever reason) .... and the result was four additional years of B.H.O.

AND ONE FINAL THOUGHT , she’s already on the record as saying that her buddy, B.H.O. “would make a great Supreme Court Justice.”

I don’t know whether to scream or puke. Or both.

That means that Trump has a 2-4% lead and he hasn’t really started on Hillary yet.....

Jimmah Carter led Ronald Reagan substantially about this time in that election cycle. You know how that one worked out!
