Being A, not THE, veep nominee looks good on a resume and can raise the fees for speaking.
“That would be of Republicans and non-aligned. The general might be different. In 2012, Zer0 got only 35.54 of the WV vote.”
That’s why I was nervous to see the clintons messing around MY state. At least one town told them they were not welcome and not to come there. I think Bill went anyway, and tried to work his charm by telling them that Hillary will “take care of them”. Gag.
This VP thing in the face of a voter campaign he positively cannot win is just the final court decree of the insanity.
Cruz is a dying star. A white dwarf heading for a blackhole. Thats physics. Its inevitable.
But Cruz is definitely dead politically. Deader than a box of doorknobs.
It’s an ad-libbed quote from the movie Tropic Thunder by the Character Les Grossman.
As well, theoretically a white dwarf could collapse into a neutron star if certain conditions are met. A neutron star in turn could collapse into a black hole if certain conditions are met.
If is unlikely, but possible.
Heh....good question....Trump broke an unprecedented 60% in RI’s primary.
Calling someone a fraud and a danger to the country is now LYING??? Hell, half of the country think that Trump is a danger to the country, and half also think Cruz is a danger to the country. Those aren’t lies: Those are opinions.
As for saying Trump is a fraud, Cruz is among millions who say the same thing about Trump. There are also millions who say that Cruz is a fraud. Good grief, it’s hyperbole, which is the mother’s milk of political discourse. But it is not lying.
I voted for Trump in my state’s primary. I’ll vote for him if he is the nominee. He is certainly flawed, but so is every other person on the planet. If we waited for a perfect person for whom to vote we’d never cast a vote.
I just think both Trump and Cruz cheapen themselves and cloud their respective messages by engaging in such sophomoric insults.
“Per Gallup, Cruz now has a negative net favorability rating among Republicans.”
Negative net favorability rating? That means less than no one has a favorable opinion of Cruz?
No, you're wrong. You don't see Trump calling Ted Cruz a fraud.
Calling someone a fraud like that is dishonorable when you know it's a false accusation.
What gives Ted Cruz the gall to call Donald Trump a fraud?
Such hysteria makes Cruz look like a fraud more than anyone else.
Same with the con-man accusation it's just low down.
Donald Trump has had a successful business career, and simply doesn't meed the criteria of either a fraud or a con-man.
Ted Cruz has no business adopting such disingenuous rhetoric (the rehetoric of the Left and GOPe). Cruz's disrespect for both Trump and Trump's supporters just feeds the image of him as being arrogant and conceited.
Vote Trump
In many minds being a hypocrite is being a fraud.
Is there ANYTHING Trump would do or say that you would find fault with? Sorry, but I neither like nor trust extremists, and people who support a candidate NO MATTER WHAT are extremists, and are dangerous as hell.
Trump is a flawed man, and he has taken positions with which I disagree, and he has done things I find wrong. But of all the people currently running for president I believe he is the best for America. At this time. In eight years he may not be — hell, in four years he may not be! But at this time, he is the best choice, and I will happily vote for him I voted for him in my state’s primary, as well).
We are not voting for a saint. We are voting for a leader. And at this time, Trump is that leader.
Tons of things. What would make you think otherwise. A review of my posts over the past few months would reveal numerous statements about Trump not running the best campaign he could have.
I still wholeheartedly agree with that assessment.
It's incredible that Donald Trump has gotten so far running such a haphazard campaign. Primarily with many of the silly things he's said, dumb tweets, etc.
If Trump had run a cleaner campaign, he would have dispatched with his opponents even sooner.
I think Donald id going to have to continue "upping his game" if he's going to go all the way.
I think if Trump speaks from the heart, shows some humility, and is in general "wiser" and more thoughful with what he says, then he'll be our next President.
I also think he needs to bring in advisors that he's actually willing to listen to. No man is an island, and that goes for Trump as well.
If he fails to take the good advice of those who are surrounding him, he's not going to make it.
Having said all of that, I DO feel that Trump should characterize this movement as a Revolution, because I believe that's what it is. Not to replace the Constitution, but to totally (re)introduce more accountability, more responsiveness to the People, and strong protections against government waste and corruption.
Starting with putting Hillary in an orange jumpsuit.
There's no greater symbol for the lack of accountability for those in power than the fact that Hillary has thus far escaped indictment for her criminally negligent (at the very least) handling of classified government communications.
