The Fox News headline running @ Facebook is Governor Mike Pence (R-IN) Endorses Ted Cruz (R-TX) for President. The first comment I read said the poster was from IN and Pence is considered an idiot; is in a dogfight to keep his job.
I think that an endorsement is what everyone expected; wonder if Fox will rework the title?
Yes, he did just enough for Cruz to spin what he said into a true endorsement.
The Five came on, and Guilfoil’s (sp) comment was that it wasn’t really much of an endorsement and that Trump was praised before Cruz was ever mentioned.
She got it right away.

This just makes Pence look like some sort of stooge. He would have been better off staying quiet, or announcing that he would support whoever gets the nomination.
By trying to be cute, he blew it. I already called the Governor’s office and said he should have just stayed out of the national election and let his constituents choose.
Every media outlet I’ve clicked on after reading this has called whatever went down an endorsement.
I agree. That’s what I’m seeing.
But the word ‘endorse’ was not used or I’m a terrible listener.
Pence praised Trump first.
Next, he said he’d vote for Cruz.
Then he said everyone else could vote as they pleased.
Then he said he’d support whoever won the nomination.
I supposed in trying to find a word to encompass that, the word ‘endorse’ might fit, but in terms of an actual political endorsement, that was not one of those.
It surely would be fun though.

Except that I already voted, this is where I stand, and we need to support the nominee, because the enemy whom we must defeat politically wears a pantsuit and wants to being Ahab and Jezebel back to the White House.
Pence is more of a Hoover sucking up than a Hoosier backing a winner.
Bobby Knight made an endorsement, and that was not ambiguous at all. Knight said Trump is the best qualified man who ever ran for President.
