The media and the establishment hate Trump.

The American people support him.

The number of players who dominate the direction of media, politics and finance is surprisingly concentrated for a country as sprawling and diverse as the United States.

Exactly as Antonio Gramsci envisioned. Demoralization. Destabilization. "Normalization". Most of us dead, the rest of us in chains.

There is only one way to stop them.

The voters handed the House to the GOP and, in 2014, we also gave them the Senate. They squandered it and accomplished nothing that they promised us when they were running for office.

In 2016, the voters are sending a clear message through the Trump campaign and ...the GOP deserves it!

Even Rove last night, with his whiteboard and marker, after

digesting the Trump blowout, seemed to have (almost)accepted

the inevitable.

I was switching back and forth between CNN and Fox last night... both were trashing Trump ad naseum. Rove said that tonight "Trump is slightly bending the arc in his favor with these wins, but we'll have to see how it goes".

CNN had a string of people on to reiterate their line that Trump wants to deport all Mexicans, wants to forever ban Muslims, and so on. They had some black guy on blathering about how he can't imagine a president who operates at a third grade level.

Then, when Hillary does her speech... they're all gushing with awe and glee.

I just hope he relentlessly attacks Clinton on her record. There is so much to go after, he doesn’t even need to be personal or demeaning - the kind of stuff that would turn people off. All he has to do is tell the truth about her.

Email scandal
Benghazi
Clinton Foundation
Lying about sniper fire
and on and on...

There is so much to choose from, no need to get personal with her.

The average American out here in flyover country is now completely cool with the Iranians or NorKorComs nuking Manhattan and D.C. You’d be doing us a favor, guys.

Hate...love...whatever. They don’t get him. I heard one of his rallies, and am reading one of his books, and already I’m feeling better about his ascendancy. They can’t stop him because they don’t get him, and they hate him because they don’t get him. And they hate him even worse because they can’t stop him, even though they hate him. It’s like watching Dubya drive libtards psycho once again. But the man’s an open book, just like Dubya. Several open books, in fact.

>>>> It is also about the humiliating defeat suffered by an increasingly isolated political and media class who still do not understand the causes and scope of Trump’s populist revolt. <<<<

Nor would they try (to understand).

Remember the most recent and absolutely stunning coup they just pulled? That a (relatively-speaking) nobody like Obama got elevated and propelled into potus SOLELY on these political and media elites. Despite the conventional wisdom said the old media did not pull the same weight as before or the predicted imminent death of the old media?

Flushed from their triumph, they can simply ignore the mass unwashed and dictate to us what is ‘in’, who is ‘cool’, yada yada yada.......

Can’t wait for their comeuppance time........

Now that CNN is showing Trump with 52 total delegates likely in PA:

http://edition.cnn.com/election/primaries/states/pa/Rep

Current delegate count according to them, and I have found them to be fairly accurate is:

Trump: 991
Cruz: 568
Kasich: 154

http://edition.cnn.com/election/

As I predicted on the Primary Thread yesterday, Trump got over 100 of the delegates last night.

I expect he will go well over the top (probably by 50 or more delegates at this point), on June 7th.

If Cruz is interested in the GOP (without any “e”) winning in November, then he needs to concede next week after Trump (in all likelihood) takes Indiana.

I pray to God that is what he will do. He has the power to:

1) Unite the party by so doing.
2) Deliver a huge blow to the GOPe by so doing.
3) Set up for a big GOP NOvember win.

My Open Letter to Ted Cruz

I say all of this as one who has diligently supported Cruz...but recognizes the truth of the situation and the absolute need to defeeat the Dems in November.
