What are you learning? To be real estate developers...
2 Chronicles 30:17 For there were many in the assembly who had not sanctified themselves; therefore the Levites had charge of the slaughter of the Passover lambs for everyone who was not clean, to sanctify them to the Lord.
Mmm, gotta get matzah in the morning...
Wow. Just wow! So wrong on so many levels. Not the one of which is factually.
He must be fatigued from the campaign trail. That is the best spin anyone could put on this.
Thanks for the ping Nachum!
LOL!!!!! Yeah, you betcha. ;)
That is very generous of you. :). I just don’t see Kasich as a Biblical scholar.
Wonderful story! Thank you.
“They dont have it all wrong, they just dont understand what they are doing, that the need for sacrifices are over.”
With respect to your beliefs, even your own scripture says that “not one jot or tittle of the Law” (i.e. the Torah, the 5 Books of Moses) shall be changed until it’s whole purpose shall have been accomplished. Matthew 5:18. Yet...early Christians changed the Sabbath, eliminated other Holy days and dispensed with the dietary laws, all of which Jesus himself observed.
So WHO doesn’t understand what they’re doing?
Oh, and FYI, there are currently no sacrifices because there is no Holy Temple. Once the Messiah comes, it will be rebuilt and the sacrifices restored. Until that time, we Jews offer a permissible sacrifice by praying 3 times daily.
Blood on the lamps, shaking the matzah, wondering how Joseph (which one?) fits into the laws of the sabbath, that was a HILARIOUS article.
That is what Passover is a illustration of.
The changes from the Law was because it was fulfilled and in this period of time, (since the Cross) when a person believes in Christ as their personal savior they cease to be either Jew or Gentile, but become one in Christ-Christian.
So, no you don't understand what you are doing, you have rejected your own messiah and returned to the Law which cannot save you!
I would advise you to read the book of Hebrews which was written by Paul to the Jews to explain to them these things.
But God isn't done with the Jews People as a People, since there were unconditional promises made to Abraham (land) and David (ruler) which God will fulfill in the future when He sets up His Millennial Kingdom.
Then all Israel will be saved under the New Covenant (Jer.31, Heb.8)
But right now, without faith in Christ as your personal savior, you are lost and on the way to hell.
Your laws and traditions can't save you, only the Blood of the Lamb can do that.
Maybe Kasich meant the Lamp of Gd.
Did he try to cut a matzo with a knife and fork?
If there are unfulfilled promises, if there is war and starvation and disease, if there is hatred, lying, stealing and adultery, then the purpose of the Bible has not been fulfilled. As such, we Jews still wait for the Messiah.
Oh, and our guy won’t need a do-over. He will get it right the first time.

To be fair, his mommy is 96 and her hands are a bit shaky.
That was painful.
The false premises re the Messiah could fill the abyss. The religious establishments and their followers are going to reject him, but $18 on the Jews for ultimate recognition. Kind of too serious a subject to say "pass the popcorn" but... on the shopping list it goes.
No kidding!

Don't miss from 50:00 min. on, Yaakov (James), Yeshua's brother
Yaakov (James) 1, 8 he is a double-minded man, unstable in all his ways. (Paul)
The Rabbi makes a note that Paul never met Yesuha, he (Paul) claims to have met him (in a vision) but I need another witness.
And here's a fact: Nowhere in scripture does it instruct to worship the Messiah, nowhere...
