Sorry, but that is who Trump is and what he does...
Because I didn’t think my fellow Americans on the right were Stalinist cowards until now. I considered the vote sacred. I was wrong. You Cruz supporters are not my countrymen.
Wow. No People Power, only crony politicians “gracing” to honor us with matching electoral votes if they feel like it.
I wonder this:
What if so many people wrote in a candidate’s name for President, but that person belonged to no party, and that person got the most votes. Do you know what would happen?

Yet, it was Colonel Combover who has hired a man with strong ties to the Ukrainian mob to run his ground game.
It’s a shame we don’t bag em and tag em, but some of them are old timers, so I know the powers that be don’t want to be too trigger happy.
No, it isn't. Cruz had nothing to do with that. This decision was made eight months ago by the Colorado GOP to resist GOPe demands that delegates be bound.
Colorado Republicans Cancel Presidential Poll at Caucuses
If Trump had a decent ground game, he could have come away with all the delegates. But he doesn't. Trump's ground game in Colorado sucks. He just doesn't know enough about the game to put forth a winning strategy.
WHO at Trumpland is putting out these despicable LIES??????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????????
WHAT, exactly, was I chairman of?????
Say, didn’t Saddam Hussein have pretty good ground game?
Lasted over 25 years, didn’t it?
Darn it Hojczyk, you were suppose to let them make fools of themselves for another couple of days. Now they might wise up and realize how badly they screwed themselves.
>In the real world, Cruz won the CO primary nomination process fair and square, by the rules, and Donald J. Trump lost it by being the poor leader of a very dysfunctional campaign.
I wonder if the people who never got to vote in Colorado feel that way? I wonder if GOP voters who didn’t get to vote in the primaries might be less than enthusiastic to vote in the general.
Frankly, the American voters including a lot of Freepers are getting a taste of what it’s been like working in the trenches of Party politics for years...
How many of you on this thread have been or are Precinct committee men/women?
Would you stop saying stupid stuff like that because it's all a moot point if Ted Cruz, having very little chance at the nomination outright, would have just bowed out gracefully.
You know that's true and the only reason for him to stay in this is to help the GOPe steal this thing, period.
CGato
Ted Cruz is the vicious snake Sarah Palin revived.
Here’s another take....
First Trumps made sure that he won’t reach 1237 delegates which he is doing now, staying in New York and ‘ignoring’ California, Colorado, North Dakota, Washington so Cruz locked in well over 100 delegates while he got nothing.
He got rid of the ground game and had his people make multiple mistakes like, hiring a consultant with long time ties to Putin and the Russin mafia, “Firing” his database guru and “forgetting” to get the passwords.... Providing delegation voter lists to support that gave instructions to vote for Cruz delegates by “mistake”..... And shifting his tweets to a sour grapes mode to move his less supportive people so they will be okay supporting the survivor, which turned out to Cruz.
Trump is making sure that Cruz is lining up supporters as delegates who will vote for Cruz in the second round when they are no longer bound but before the insiders can drop in one of their own in the 4th or 5th vote.
Trump will “grudgingly” support Cruz, pushing for changes in the future and positioning himself in an advisory position to get the economy really booming and of course get the wall built, which is really the only thing he is really concerned about.
If the economy and national security are good he’ll be able to claim the responsibility and if the economy goes south he’ll be able to say “I told you so...”
Trump never wanted to be president and he glad it’s not going to happen. I’m glad Trump is clearing the way for Cruz. Thanks Donald.
(((he’s trying to cover his incompetence))))
>>voters elect President
Do they? Or is it the Electoral College?
Does the popular vote really matter?
What leverage does the populace have to force Electoral delegates to vote according to the popular vote?
I dont know.

You might be on to something, how far will a desperate establishment go?
Trumps opening the way for Cruz perhaps......why would he let Cruz swwp the states he is...cancel his rallies...fire his staff and hire some mafia stooge as his manager.....saying he’s forgotten passwords and all this nonsense happening....
Still think he didn’t want the Presidency....just to entertain the masses while Cruz was positioned....now they’ll go on to convention and make sure Cruz gets in before the RNC can drop their guy....
You don’t understand how screwed up the CO caucus system is.
Trump in the race simply illustrated how bad it is.
The CO delegates were originally slated for Jeb Bush. There wasn’t chance in the world that they were going anywhere else.
Until Jeb dropped out.
Since he has suspended his campaign, the place holder for the GOPe is Cruz, who will control those delegates until the RNC, then, after a few slight of hand tricks, they are slated to go back to Jeb, or maybe Mitt.
Cruz will never get to enjoy the delegates at the convention.
See posts by snarkpup to hear it from someone who has firsthand experience with this corruption.
The political games have only sharpened Trump's style, but he's a REALIST and that in itself puts him above the others by miles,in particular Cruz/GOPe.
