We live in a Country today that is built entirely upon CREDIT and Credit Money. All Federal Reserve Notes and Credits were LOANED in to society with Interest Attached. This in and of itself requires a Mathematical THEFT OF VALUE(inflation) on an Ever Increasing Basis just to stay even. ANd if you want Growth, the math grows exponentially. There is NO Way out of an Economy built entirely on CREDIT.

We need these Trade Deals to help MASK the Real effects of a Pure Fiat Currency using fractional reserve banking. Otherwise the whole thing would have collapsed a long time ago.

I agree... and the ‘truth’ about TPP cannot be told without explaining the VAT tax.

The completely out of touch plutocracy is starting to treat the American people like cattle. This is not going tend well - for them.

So true. How could any USA loving politician support such an agreement? Every one of them should be run out of DC.

“The consumer sees no benefit and only job loses.”

It has been estimated that tariffs on sneakers cost the consumer over two billion a year.

“You can argue of the pros and cons of tariffs but WE HAVE THE RIGHT to vote for a protectionist government.”

Then argue the pros and cons. You could start by making a moral case for using the power of government to steal wealth from one group to give to another group.

Not mentioned in the above article, but I remember reading that foreign companies can come here under TPP, open their business and import their labor from their home country without limit by visa or green card.

Reality is there are very 'few' USA loving politicians. Trump has exposed the so called conservative pundits, radio personalities, and professional writers as the cause celeb for globalism... US Constitution be damned.

Rush went to the dark side long ago.. There was a time Rush described Cruz as following the 'original intent' of the Constitution.... NO LONGER...All those years Rush described conservatives as three legs of a stool... (words to that affect) social single issue voting conservatives, fiscal 'wall street' conservatives, and the war hawks, also depending upon who uses the word neoconservatives. Now if one uses their own word in a negative description one is accused of being anti-semitic. (just like the word racists, I no longer know what the meaning of 'anti-semitic' is)

Cruz using the Jesus card hit first, on the single issue voters, while hiding in plain sight that he is a fake Christian. I did not save it but read somewhere he speaks in private not so kindly about the 'religious' voting block... The 'social single issue voting conservatives' are starved to have a politician speak their language, and they will be the last to see through the deception. They are looking for a revival before the rapture... Cruz speaks that language in public. Privately he exposes himself as the preacher for hire.

Overall the USA collects almost nothing in tariffs annually. Less than 1%.

President George Washington signed the first tarrif act into law. So was he an "immoral" protectionist?

Tarrif Act of 1789 Preamble:

"Whereas it is necessary for that support of government, for the discharge of the debts of the United States, and the encouragement and protection of manufactures, that duties be laid on goods, wares and merchandise:

Is Cruz being truthful about his support of TPP?

Cruz supported and cast U. S. Senate votes to fast track TPP. That is indisputable. Cruz campaigned with “anti-Establishment” Ryan for a month to pass TPA fast track. TPA is key because it lowered the votes required for passage and disallowed amendments. The fact is is ZERO fast tracked “trade” deals have ever been voted down.

There is something deeply dishonest about Cruz. To support TPA (Trade Promotion Authoritiy) knowing full well it all but assures passage of the Constitution busting TPP while saying you were always against TPP is disgusting. Typical career politician flim flam in support of his big donors. Ted Cruz stands with Wall Street and not Main Street. It couldn’t be more clear.

Just recently Ford, Carrier and Nabisco opened production facilitates in Mexico. Have any of them announced price reductions? If moving factories to the third world is such a good idea why don't you see advertising campaigns regaling this? Where are the ads claiming “ Acme Widgets are now made in Mexico. New reduced price is 20% less than the Made in the USA price.” You never see this because they never reduce prices.

On the contrary these moves like this are made in the middle of the night and cloaked in secrecy.

Yes, Crus voted for it and his wife’s boss paid the Senate to pass it.

Cruz is but a mere pawn, and has deceived himself into thinking he can pawn US. His co-candidate is the brains behind his so called 'economic plans' including that VAT tax. I actually think his wife is the more intellectual of the two.

I tend to agree with you as all Cruz really knows is the law. He knows little about market like she does. She is the one who is in charge of implementing the financial goals of the Wall street crowd plus their buddies.
