Bad gun laws aside, there are nearly 2m legal guns in the UK. And knives are not banned, despite this nonsense myth in the US.
I assume that’s satire, but I will clarify just in case someone here reads you as being serious and factual.
It is a complete myth that the British:
1—are not armed.
2—cannot own guns (bad gun laws aside)
3—cannot defend themselves
4—do not have the right to self defence.
All wrong. We have 2m guns, we have the right to self-defence, and the law in fact has been strengthened twice in the last 9 years in favour of the assaulted/homeowner.
It is also legal to kill (within reasonable force) an attacker or burglar in the UK. As two Brits have done in the last few years.
