Rand Paul turned me off because he announced already in 2013 that he was planning to run for president in 2016, and then he forced the Kentucky legislature to change the rule so he could also run for his reelection of his seat in the US Senate.

At least he waited a couple of years before he ran for President. My Senator, Cruz, was not even in the Senate for a year before he started running for President.

The article says that Tom Massie, a Kentucky congressman who has consistently opposed the GOPe leadership like Boehner and Ryan will also support Trump along with Rand Paul.
I like the Paul’s (Ron and Rand) a lot more than others do.
George W. Bush and the GOPe business elites were too economically entangled with the Gulf Arabs and Saudis to fight the right kind of war against terrorism after 9/11, so we got the Afghanistan and Iraq “Wars” fought in the Korean and Vietnam War styles of limited policing.
