Wait a minute. So trump saying something harmless to Heidi is a threat but Cruz saying he’d run over trump is cool? Cruz is getting a free ride this primary. No vetting at all. Not sure why.

The show had just had a segment on April Fools jokes. The guy demonstrating pranks showed a Freddie Kruger action figure duct taped to someone’s rear view camera. He also said it could be done with a picture and held up one of Donald Trump. Cruz just jokingly referred to that prank.
I guess the guy doing the April Fools gags needs to be investigated, too.

Of course he didn’t- but shhhh- let them look desperate when it’s clear Cruz did NOT say he would put the car in reverse and hit the gas and back over him- He simply said he didnt’ know which pedal He’d hit- hitting the brake is Not ‘backing over someone’ - but leave it to trump supporters to make a mountain over a molehill-
How they can jump from deciding to either ‘hitting the brakes, or hitting the gas’ to ‘intentionally threatening to run him over by backing over him’ is beyond me-
I guess it’;s now acceptable to take everythign otu of context and make up whatever crap we want to now about the opposition

Redacted; decided not to say it. But in a generic sense, the more blindly supportive of Cruz one is, the more likely one will see genuine humor in turning him into roadkill.
I don’t think Cruz’s joke was particularly funny, but the supporters of a guy who made his political bones insulting others swooning over it? Hilarious.
