To think that my wife and I once worried about him passing away after the Hawaii heart emergency scare. What would his loyal conservative audience do?

He keeps pathetically trying to appease both sides. He’s really sad to listen to. I never ever ever thought I’d say that. Today a woman called and said the woman reporter was playing the victim card and Rush said “thanks for calling” and immediately went to the next caller. Sad.

Come to think of it---have you ever heard Rush talk about how anti-American TPP is, and how Cruz voted for TPA, which will give us TPP and more? Have you ever heard Rush talk about securing the border and how the immigration of Mexicans is killing this nation? Or that we should keep Muslims out who cannot be vetted TO A "T"? Or that we should not take in ANY of the rapefugees? Or that Europe is destroying its culture and taking down the West with it?

I never missed a minute of Rush---until just the last few weeks. For many, many years. I am free all day to listen to talk radio.

We conservatives have stood by Rush for 25 years. But did he stand by us on the Omnibus bill---and use his bully pulpit to ruin the life of Ryan and those who gave us the Omnibus bill? How about Cruz and Preibus etc etc who said if we give the Republicans the senate in 2014 they will REPEAL OBAMACARE.

Rush doesn't call out McConnell or Ryan or the Washington Insider Cocktail Circuit Elite.

Has Rush ever mentioned that Ted and Heidi are cooking up the North American Union?

I admit...those things are coming to my mind. After the Repub lies of 2014, I finally, after 50 years, quit them, gave up on them, saw them for what they are, took the red pill.

Now, I am realizing that all the same things apply to those on talk radio and conservative media: those we thought were our heroes have FEET OF CLAY

That’s like viewing the Pearl Harbor attack of Dec 7 1941 and then saying, I’ve looked at it, I can’t take sides. I can’t pick a side. Each side is equally right and equally wrong.

You make a lot of great points there.   Like you pointed out, Rush has completely dodged a lot of very important issues for conservatives lately.

I also listened to Rush for many years as much as I could, and I also stopped listening to him completely several weeks ago.

(I've checked the FR Rush threads here a few times since then, to see if anything came out in his show or elsewhere to give some kind of explanation for his recent drastic changes for the worse, but I'm done listening to him.  I read FR for political news and discussions, and listen to music now.)

Look the man is an entertainer. He has no desire in loosing half his audience by openly supporting trump or Cruz. If either is selected he will stand behind them 100 percent. Till then not so much and he will waffle between the two.

Saying rubio is not establishment was moronic, and he kept it up for days after the "robot rubio" debate. Didn't help rubio one iota.

Sad to say, it seems rush is only interested in a brokered convention so he has something to talk about.
