If it is against the law wouldn’t the lawbreaker require punishment?
To: GIdget2004
His statement is absolutely correct. IF THE STATE HAS BANNED ABORTION, THERE SHOULD BE SOME SORT OF PUNISHMENT!!!
Some of you people are for banning abortion in a state and NO PUNISHMENT? That is absurd!!

There are about 10 different news agencies running with this last time I checked.
The “War on Women” crowd will have a field day with this.

It’s now the top story on Google News, that didn’t take long. Let the damage control begin...
To: GIdget2004; LS
The article says “would” and the title says “should”.
“Would” makes the point better that if something is illegal, then breaking the law has some kind of punishment.
Except, of course, illegally entering our country.
It already is banned, and the result is a reward.

I saw it, I heard it.......he said it. Maybe as long as abortion is the law, just work to overturn it or encourage hearts and minds to find it a terrible injustice to the unborn.......but punish women for abortions?? I’m sure he’ll have to backtrack but Hellary and her gang of abortion-loving hacks are dancing around the campfire right now.

Duh. If something is illegal and you do it, you get punished. How big of a deal is that? This could even help him in the primaries because most Republicans are pro-life.
To: GIdget2004
Trump may have just lost the nomination right there. The GOPe will do ANYTHING to stop him now. Serves him right for going on a Chris Matthews’ “town hall.” Stupid.

Were women punished before Roe v. Wade? The only criminal cases I’ve heard of were botched abortions that killed the mother.

He has explained the statement for better or worse.
The bigger issue is why democrats are never asked about their 9 month abortion approval.
Every time an abortion question is asked, the above question should be the answer
To: GIdget2004
Long late to this party, but I understand what he is saying, and I’m not a big fan. Some women consider abortion a form of birth control. You have that much sex without a raincover and you are going to add some cost to the health care system, aside from the obvious morality issues.

More anti-Trump media distortion. Trump said people should be punished IF THEY BREAK THE LAW. Anti-Trumpers are such dishonest people.

Trump comments...war on women...mean and nasty...against “choice”...etc.
Say Hello to President Hillary!!!
At least this little disaster came now, and not in the summer. It might blow over in time. It’s hard enough to win an election against the Marxists on the other side, but when your own party and most of the media also wants to take you down, well that’s really difficult.

As I think about this some more... I realize that Trump has spent maybe an hour and a half a day on interviews since he announced in June-- or approximately ten hours a week for 42 week or 420 hours worth of interviewing...
But have you noticed a pattern in these interviews? It seems like every few days he says something in an interview that captures the media attention so much that he becomes the only story for several days... Then that story fades and another interview quote captures the media's attention..
Why is it that his controversial statements are always so evenly spaced out? Why not 3 controversial statements on the same day? I think he is playing the media for fools and no one even realizes it at this point...
