Trump wasn’t awake?

We can disagree of course, but I think that the exchange hurt Trump. Those circulating flyers would have done more damage to Cruz if Trump had placed them in a positive light, instead of going negative on Heidi.

I hope that people here are not so enamored with a candidate that they can’t admit when his campaign makes a mistake. It was a mistake for the super PAC to use the photo and Trump’s response was a mistake too.

When I first saw the ad I thought it was weird, but pro Trump. You can have a successful president and a hot first lady, or vote for Ted Cruz.

I am not a Trump supporter but that is funny. The ad was a mistake for Cruz’s superPAC especially since he was ahead in Utah anyway. You were not target of that ad to begin with... it was the evangelicals.

This is the disconnect between those who get their news from cable television and those who find out what's really going on by searching the net.

Newt needs to refrain from knee-jerking to the marxist muslim uniparty meme.

I agree, Trump mishandled this. It is perfectly understandable why he reacted the way he did; but even now, he could probably back pedal this, saying that he is proud of his wife’s beauty, he is not ashamed of her modeling career, and that it is way past time to move on. I do hope that people stay focused on what is important, and that is ridding our party of the GOP elitists and defeating the democrats. And Cruz supporters need to seriously start asking themselves if Cruz can accomplish either of those goals, our very survival as a nation is at stake!

Wrong. The photo was likely purchased months ago and being saved for the ‘ripe moment.’

The Cruz Mistress Crises -#theThing was heavily rumored to be released. So Cruz’s team sent out the Trump photo as a preemptive strike to soften the blowback for Cruz. The bonus was mocking the outrage and being able to blame Trump for retaliatory treatment.

And, there’s proof on the celebrity gossip blogs. The first challenge to find a cheating POTUS candidate was in August 2015. Another challenge was issued (but reworded more specific) in December 2015. Hundreds of comments or tips were sent in to their sleuths. And POTUS was solved to be Cruz 12/15, BTW. Only difference is the mistress was supposed to be a lobbyist. So maybe there’s another guy, yet to be outed. Or maybe a mistress yet to be uncovered.

Team Cruz likely received a 48 hour notice from the Enquirer. That is how they dealt with Sarah Palin’s daughter and Levi Johnson. They informed both families and Sarah was forced to disclose Bristol’s condition. But they did give her the courtesy of the “heads-up.”

Raphael was a sub 10 percenter but he hid behind Trump's skirt until Trump removed all the big bad competition. Then voila, I'm Ted, vote for me cuz I'm not Trump

He never had a chance.....EVER. He would lose to Bernie.

Fark Raphael and donkey he rode in on.

Last week I heard Newt say he would never dream of giving Trump campaign advice, because he “clearly knows what he’s doing better than I do”, based on his results doing things Newt would have thought were political suicide. I guess humility doesn’t stick with Newt any more than Trump.

Surprisingly, I agree.
Its way past time for “grenades at 30 paces” politics on both sides.

This current “spouse” squabble has damaged Republican chances to win the White House(assuming the negro community organizer from Chicago allows elections in 2016).

Its hard to parse sometimes. I think that the candidates are playing a game with hidden moves and pitfalls. I try and avoid second guessing Trump because when I have been concerned in the past things have unfolded to prove he had been in front of an issue I was not really aware of.

In this case the whole situation is very sad. If this story has been open knowledge in multiple media outlets for so long I don’t have much hope that it is false. I do believe that the Cruz/Anti-Trump PAC used the flier of Melania to create a crossfire to partially defuse the Cruz Mistress Scandal that they knew was breaking. The fact that it broke on Easter Friday suggests that the people who broke it were trying to mitigate the effect just like the White House releasing documents Friday night.

In view of the above I think that Trump’s response would have been spun no matter how restrained it was. I take Trump’s response as very mild basically “People in Glass Houses shouldn’t throw stones”. When that overture was not met with “You are right Donald I agree families should be off limmits for attack ads and I appreciated that you spoke up when my children were brought in. I denounce the use of my name in attack ads on family members.”, Donald retweeted a picture to cement the fact that they both have wives. His later comments when the scandal broke were very measured and he did not use the opportunity to attack although Cruz repeatedly attacked him baselessly despite evidence to the contrary.

I know this may not be a popular view but I was very troubled to have a man with such young children running for POTUS. I think that children are a serious and prime responsibility. While we all make compromises between optimum and reality, running for POTUS and serving as POTUS creates a lot of stress and distortion in a young life. Other children historically have not fared well. It is difficult enough on a husband & wife with adult children but at least adult children understand and can be consulted beforehand. Now these children are front and center in a family catastrophe.

His polling numbers are at an all time high. Don’t fret.

OK, I won’t. But I’ll breathe easier if Trump does well in Wisconsin.

We will have to see how it plays out. We are partially in the hands of the National Enquirer. If their next issue does not continue the store we can take a deep breath & move on. If the story continues we will all be held captive as the train wreck unfolds.

Gingrich added, "and this ought to be a wake-up call to Trump, that he had better rethink some of the underlying patterns of his campaign

Newt stating what is obvious, The Carnival Barker's Enquirer stunt blew up in his face, with the 70% of the voters who are not his fanatical koolaid drinkers. That is why he scrubed it all from his Facebook page on Sunday. Tracking polls tell the tale.

I want both TC and DT to end the scum flinging and get the focus back onto OblaBla, Hill, and our shrinking economy.

Not going to happen. Ted Cruz is a bought and paid for career politician. He’ll gladly carry the GOP establishment’s water if it advances his career one inch.

Cruz is "going to do well" in the Wisconsin primary on April 5, Gingrich added, "and this ought to be a wake-up call to Trump, that he had better rethink some of the underlying patterns of his campaign."

Newt is absolutely correct and pointing this out is not necessarily an attack on Trump.

Here’s from a celebrity star gossip website:

EXCLUSIVE! Presidential Candidate Affair (December 2015)

We have the scoop about a dramatic revelation that is expected to shake up the U.S. Presidential race within the next few weeks!

One of the candidates who is expected to make it through to the primary election is going to have to face accusations about a very recent affair. The person with whom they were having the affair: A lobbyist!

Needless to say, this accusation will raise all kinds of questions about impulse control, judgment, honesty, integrity, and vulnerability to influence from special interest groups… as well as their portrayal of themselves as “happily married” and committed to family values.

This could be a game-changer, folks!

A similar ad ran in August 2015 looking for which POTUS candidate who has been having an affair with a media journalist.
