Exactly. This is a time-honored ploy used since politics and political parties began to remain electable and in the majority. The Democrats even tolerate the occasional pro-life Dem senator just to retain a majority. There will be no hearings or vote, and those naïve hysterics on this thread who think there will be aren't paying attention and/or are ignorant how party politics work.
“How long will conservatives continue to follow and support the treacherous GOP?”
How long will patriotic Americans continue to follow and support the globalist Uniparty establishment?
There is only one GOP senator that matters and that is McConnell. Because of the rule changes put in place by Reid, only the majority leader has a say about what will and will not be put on the senate floor for a vote. So, as long as McConnell remains against hearing the nomination, it will not be heard. However, McConnell’s lack of backbone in the past does not give me a warm fuzzy that he won’t change his mind and bend to pressure and become one of the senators referred to in this article.
Just send up for approval after the election
Have to be careful to aim right or they might zap the ones that guarantee gay marriage and abortion-on-demand, our most precious constitutional liberties.
Meetings, OK. Approval, NOT OK.
Why meet with a party hack when they have no intention of holding hearings? No need to meet with him, unless they intend to sell us out. And I thought they were supposed to wait until after the election to do that.
“I’d like to get this meeting scheduled ASAP, Your Honor — I have an appointment on my calendar to plan strategy to rig the GOP nomination rules so we can give Mitt another try....”
