I can’t believe we are even forced to have to debate this issue.
There are slippery slopes we go down, and this is one of them. In our zeal to appease homosexuals and grant homosexual rights, now we are going down the list of all of the dreams of the “LGBT” peoples. You thought they would be happy with homosexual marriage and decide their lives are now complete due to nationwide homosexual marriage??? Apparently we haven’t seen anything yet.
We’re going to slide some more down a slippery slope.
It’s not too far fetched to see judges get involved too, and some liberal judge somewhere declare that the men’s room and the ladies room are unconstitutional discrimination against the LGBT peoples somehow.
I agree with you.
But I think a “free-fire zone” 3rd bathroom would make this clear. The perverts involved (mostly men who are either confused—best case—or taking advantage of this crazy situation) could use the free-fire option. But, there should be regular bathrooms for people who don’t want to be disturbed or observed.
Because we are morally and intellectually flaccid.
I’m not sure male and female toilets is a Constitutional issue.
In this case, the people will decide and mostly it will be women who decide. If enough men start going into women’s restrooms (and I advocate that they do for civil disobedience) ... I guarantee you 100% that women will get this issue resolved in the State laws.
That said, men could already go into women’s restrooms and have done. Women know a sign on the door is not going to protect them. Best defense for women is to carry.
It’s not about fairness or equity. It’s all about forcing the public to question their value system and to deny what they have always known: that there are two sexes, and that they must work together to conceive, give birth to, nurture and raise children.
It is to force people to accept the insane idea that gender is a continuum, within which people can move freely, and that they can change the gender that “was assigned to them at birth.”
Insanity.
How many of the wealthy and powerful pushing these pro-sexual pervert policies are closet sexual freaks themselves?
They always think they hide their perversion well but usually show it in various ways.
Just look how Obama reacts every time the issue of homosexuality arises.

These idiot corporations will soon find that women will do less shopping in their stores. They won’t want to spend a few hours at a mall if they are afraid to use the restrooms.
Gender neutral bathrooms won’t do for the LGBT radicals. They would still say that is discriminatory. They won’t rest until they have their own way on every issue. They are evil.
I still would like to know when it became accepted that transgender is real. It’s absurd. Nobody is born in the wrong body. I may believe I’m a bird, but I can’t grow feathers and people would rightly say I’m nuts for thinking that I’m anything other than the way I was born.
Just make every john and one-holer. Deviants still won’t like it.

Exactly. I will not shop or do business at a place that has multi-stall ‘gender neutral’ restrooms.
Already too many places have single use restrooms which waste a lot of space and are usually not as well maintained and cleaned as multiple use restrooms (with obvious exceptions). Long waits at the door and often messy with pee on the floor etc when you get inside. Also in single use restrooms people are not as tidy as they are when in restrooms with others in them. They leave diapers and worse on the floor or don’t flush because there is no others there to see what they are doing.
Single use restrooms make sense in smaller establishments with not enough traffic to warrant mulit-use dual sex restrooms, say a small café or a doctor’s office.
This won’t be a problem when the muslims get here.

I guess I don’t get what the problem is. Why can’t these lgbt guys just go into the men’s room, do their business and leave? What is it they’re claiming that’s bothering them about using a men’s room - if they have the “parts”, they have to be used to seeing them, so it can’t be that. So, what is it?
That is true. Public restrooms have always been potentially unsafe for women and children. Particularly out of the way locations without much traffic. Women have always had to be cautious about the restrooms they use and consider many factors before taking the chance. That is why for me this is less about safety than about common decency and decorum.
