Same s 2012, except for rules changed by the RNC. The RNC members ARE ELECTED, not appointed, ANY Republican can be involved in the process. Trump should have thought of this at the start. Some have already been elected, many others are yet to be elected. In Colorado, for example, they will be chosen at the State Convention, on April 9th. ---Yes it's too late too become a delegate to the State Convention, Trump should not have slept through this process. He is a political novice, hasn't studied the law or the rules or the history, it's his own fault for sleepwalking through the campaign, thinking it's merely about rallies and debates speechifying and TV. He spends too much of his life watching TV. TV isn't reality, Donald, no matter how many "reality TV" shows you watch. Wake up. Do the hard work. The rules have been posted on the internet for a very long time. It's getting late.
Including the fact that Harry Reid is in the Senate with the help of Donald J Trump?
Donald has all the marks of a johnny-come-lately opportunist, a "conservative of convenience" who will turn on the conservatives as soon as it becomes advantageous to his career.
Get use to the words "That was then, this is now," because that is what he is going to tell you. He's done it before. Many times.
Reid takes a lot of grief around here but he did kill Feinstein’s assault weapon ban bill. My primary issues are the second amendment and illegal immigration. Trumps good to go AFAIC.
