They weren’t low information - they just assumed that it would be BAU (business as usual). To paraphrase Will Rogers, we have the best government that money can buy.
But what makes me laugh is the GOP has said for years that they can’t win unless they get a candidate to pull in independents. So, then they get one - and are spending what they have left trying to rid of him! Obama has said that the GOP consists of back-benchers and cat-callers who can’t or may not want to lead, and in this very rare circumstance, I agree with him.
Who’s’ Rubio?
These donors customarily get repaid through Congressional omnibus appropriations.
I can stop Trump! If any GOPe donor wants to donate a few million to me, I can guarantee I can do just as well as the rest of them!
Half a billion dollars? I could buy several Third World countries for the sum and still have plenty of cash left over...
“aggressively courting those who once wrote checks to their opponents.
True. Cruz and Kasich’s whoring gives a whole new meaning to “political dirty tricks”.
I’d include less than millionaire donors who are very literate. The owner’s of restaurants, landscaping companies, builders, contractors, etc. who employ illegals have no incentive to vote for Trump. Their lives will have to undergo an adjustment period of Trump does what he says he will.
I bet the Koch Brothers are laughing their asses of not falling for Romney, Bush’s and Rove lies
Dear God Almighty.
Total waste of money.
ALL THOSE PEOPLE DESERVE TO GTH!
I think I read somewhere that the Koch Brothers hadn’t spent any money in the primary because they didn’t think it would do any good. Maybe they are the only smart ones in the establishment.
