For the life of me, I am astounded at the lack of political acumen of Trump’s opponents.

This protest was a golden opportunity for any of them to say something along the lines of “God knows I have differences with Donald Trump, but this Brown Shirt attempt to block free speech is beyond the Pale and I heartily condemn it.”

Big Time Brownie points would have been made, and their polling numbers might have increased.

Instead, they all committed political seppuku.

Kasich might have saved Ohio for him. Then again, Ohio voters might be in the “But he’s OUR bastard” mode and vote for him anyway. March 15 is gonna be interesting.

As a Senator, all Ted Cruz has done is talk. Cruz’s legislative history according to the Congressional Quarterly’s database, since he became a senator in January 2013, reveals he is the main sponsor on 44 bills and a cosponsor on 187.

Of those on which he was the primary sponsor, only one has passed.
