“The working blue collars lost the most - the lower taxes on the rich did help raise everyone’s money”
Lower taxes on the “rich” does not raise taxes on the poor automatically. Tax rates must be changed for that to happen.
Reagans 1981 Economic Recovery Tax Act was an across-the-board 25 percent reduction in tax rates. He reduced the number of tax brackets to two; 15 percent for the middle class and 28 percent for the wealthy.
I hardly call that raising taxes on the middle class.
Trump’s father built homes for blue collar workers. Trump went around with his father working along side him. He understands blue collar.
Blue collar workers in Ohio and Pennsylvania have every right to vote, to let their voice heard by voting Trump. They have been hurt by this horrible economy and globalism. They want Nationalism, America a Nation built on Steel but the GOPe wants America a Nation built on Lettuce.
BROTHERS OF STEEL VOTE TRUMP.
VOTE THE ORANGE NATION.
Thanks. Good to know.
Poll FReep: Who would be your first choice for Donald Trump's running mate?
If the election were held today, who would be your first choice for President of the United States?
Conservatism aside, Reagan was the beneficiary of Carter's incredible ineptitude and incompetence. I knew blue collar guys back then, in abundance, and their contempt for Jimmuh knew no bounds.
That may be as far up where the sun don't shine as humanly possible.
:-)
If Trump actually becomes POTUS I’ll believe that we still have a fair election process. There’s no way any of the powers that be will rig those machines to elect him.
