The 2015 Omnibus bill driven by Paul Ryan and Mitch funded this.
Cruz voted against the omnibus. Rubio missed the vote.

Was this 1/2 billion funding in the omnibus budget bill? If not where did money come from?
I’m glad all the true conservatives in congress approved this. Anyone who opposes this must not be a true conservative.

That’s not what will happen, though. Republicans will make a lot of noise “opposing” this, speeches and press releases, Fox news commentary, complaints of obstructionism from CNN,then they will vote for it like they had always planned to.
Many people will think that the Republicans opposed it and fought hard to stop it, without realizing they have been fooled again.

Ryan and Mitch fully funded Obama’s budget so yes, it was included.
Thank them, as Cruz voted against it and Rubio was MIA.
