I won't compromise my conservative principles to vote for a man who is constitutionally ineligible. Not only is Cruz not a natural born citizen, there isn't even any evidence he is a naturalized citizen. As far as we know, he may well be an illegal alien. Show us the proof!

Conservatives, including conservative commentators need to wake up and smell the Dem machinations. It’s all for Hillary.

The only one she is afraid of is Trump, so they are working extra hard to make sure Trump doesn’t get the nomination. Many conservatives are so naïve that they don’t see this and allow themselves to be manipulated.

Sad, but true. Just look at the effect, the bottom line — trying to turn people against Trump.

Why is the establishment lining up behind Cruz?

Because they can make deals with Trump!, they said so earlier in the campaign. Cruz has stonewalled them and fought with them to get them to toe the line in the Senate. No deals there.

They finally realize they can do more to scuttle Cruz with an endorsement than an attack, which would be taken as a reason to vote for Ted.
