I had to go early to register. It was a long line when I left. Interested to see how the turnout compares to 2012.

Cruz fares far better in polling than Trump in a general election.

As Cruz inches further into the spotlight, his negatives will rise.

He's an unappealing, bland candidate with a narrow base of support.

I assume Rubio will be quitting after FL.

Then we have a two man Race.

Best Election Season ever.

Primaries and caucuses are usually for more politically inclined people with a fealty to one party or the other. Lat minute decisions make no sense in that scenario.

At the Republican Convention, a candidate must have a majority of delegates from 8 or more contests in order for their name to be put into nomination.

There was a lot of speculation, including by myself, that Trump may have been the only candidate who would have qualified to be nominated.

The rule was designed after Ron Paul took over 10% of the delegates in 2012 and embarrassed Romney who was nominated by less than 90% of the delegate total.

Great job on that Perot vote-William J. Clinton

The further we get into this, the less I can tolerate Cruz's character.

Look what he surrounds himself with. Glenn Beck? A guy that wants to murder another candidate?

Can't support that.

His negatives have shrunk the more exposure he has received. Just the poll numbers, not opinion.

“As Cruz inches further into the spotlight, his negatives will rise.

Yeah, right.

Read the results and weep!

Just win, baby!!!

Well, I wish you luck with that candidate. He’s going to need it.

It’s probably different in all caucus states. IA was I think pretty intimidating-—you had to listen first.

I've been that if trump gets the nod. All I hear back from trump supporters is “Hillary thanks you for the vote.”

I disagree, voting is an important duty. Vote your conscience.

As a conservative I'd ask that you reconsider and vote for the first constitutional conservative we have seen in a long time.

Cruz can’t beat Clinton, Romney would do better.
Ted is the Democratic Trifecta.

To vote for Ted, I'd have to compromise my principles. I didn't do it before and I can't see doing it again. I'm being completely honest here and not trolling.

I can't trust the guy, it's that simple.

While there was huge turnout, I have to say it was so poorly organized and that greatly compounded the long wait. Could be they were unexpectedly overwhelmed?

I think the turnout will be much greater than ‘12, but that’s my take from talking with others as I wasn’t a Maine resident yet!

The small base of Christians? That is the largest part of the base.

I agree but not because people “get to know him,” but because as I have said, the GOPe has been quietly pushing him to stop Trump. If they ever stop Trump, the stuff they sling at Cruz will have his negatives in the 80s.

#106

In case you missed it, it is Donnie listed in 3 different fraud cases listed as the defendant.

Hr is the only one that I know of that has been deposed and is expected to have answer questions under oath in July...

He is also the only Republican candidate that donated to the Hillary 08 Presidential Campaign 4 times and invited her to his wedding

Yes I can see why you would support Hillary I n the General
