Your response explains why Trump says he “loves the least educated people.”
That's kind of funny since Ted Cruz obviously TRUSTED THE NY TIMES by making this crap of "Release the tape Donald" his main campaign talking point for the last week.
Cruz, an attorney, had convicted Trump of lying about his border stance on evidence that doesn't even exist.
I guess Cruz believes in guilty until proved innocent when it suits his purpose.
Delay delay delay until new recordings can be made to cover-up the sections you want to remain hidden.
The Times will wait to release the tapes as an October surprise.
How about Cruz’s conversations with donors behind closed doors.
I don’t mind that, I think that is what you should do, vote what you believe in.
CALLING people Cults because they believe in someone other then what you want is just wrong. Why does it inspire people to vote your way?
I agree with honest, good debates, which we don’t see on TV were we see the same kind of bashing, cherry picking, calling people names like cult followers and flat out liars which does not create good honesty in people.
YOU are a FRiend.
God Bless you...
Greetings, Race -- long time no see!
In reply to your above post, I know I'm not the only Trump supporter on this Forum who would also vote for Cruz if he wins the nomination. He does enjoy more support on FR than it may seem during this primary season as we root for this one or that one, but will unify around the GOP nominee in the spring/summer. Ted Cruz is an accomplished politician and has stood up for conservative causes, for which we are grateful. God willing, we anticipate him continuing to do that, either in the presidency or any other post to which he may be elected or appointed.
That said, Donald Trump's candidacy does represent an enormous sacrifice of money, time and future profits that he is donating to the American people, as well as having given this 2016 race a powerful, Big Picture blueprint of what we must do to save ourselves. His contribution of his own funds has enabled him to speak with a spirit of liberty and a smashing of Political Correctness that has been holding us back, out of his lived memories of a free America before it fell to the pansexualist/OneWorld/Clinton/Bush/Obama cabal that has been in place for Mr. Cruz's entire lifetime of experience.
Mr. Trump risks his life daily to wade in among the people at his rallies, and in speaking so forthrightly to bring his warnings about how far we have fallen, the dangers of foreign invasion or usurpation, the criminality of Mrs. Clinton and the results of Obama's actions, and in defining what we need to do to straighten up.
Is there self-interest in these things? On an elevated plane, yes; but it is the same plane as Mr. Cruz's work on behalf of our traditional American values, ideals and Constitutional system. Do I see a big payoff in Mr. Trump's future as a result of his candidacy? It could happen; but I see it happening as a result of his direct efforts to save the country's economy only if he actually wins the presidency, where he can then improve the economy and "redevelop" Washington in the traditional spirit of America, on behalf of most Americans. I do not see him angling for materialist development deals for socialist goals, such as welfare housing or more government office buildings -- just the opposite; he wants to shut down large areas of government and put people back to work in our own country.
Surely he could have continued as he had been, with nothing standing in the way of continuing to be a real estate developer, at a time in life when most people want to start handing over to their children and cutting back to enjoy old age. But instead he has put his entire life and family on the line to take a postion that pays far less (at a salary he may in fact not accept), with no readily apparent quid pro quo.
Have you seen this? Someone has figured it out?
How could everybody get it so wrong?

Ted Cruz got paid by taxpayers didn’t he? He accomplished very little, yet still got paid quite a bit. That is how politics works - and why we need a non-politician. Everyone else needs to actually accomplish something or they will be fired.
...explain the purpose for me.
Perhaps you will have better luck than me finding a link to a Ted Cruz off-the-record interview.
Pls ping me when you find it.
Check out the movie "Absence of Malice"
I could care less what was on the tapes.
Don’t believe I have called anyone a liar. I use “cult” because his followers don’t care about his hypocrisy or lying. It’s a devotion to a personality. That is the very definition of a cult.
Sigh,
ok, soo IT is OK to call me a Cult supporter, in your opinion.
BECAUSE I don’t agree to YOUR idea of “someone” you want to vote for and can’t even say his name.
Got it.
Have a nice day! (and I mean that. :) )
Well said.
A dumb question — why would ANYONE “record” an “off-the-record” conversation?
Btw, I think Trump is a Grade-A Con Man, and this just is too stupid.
So, when there was the rumor about was on the tapes, the NYT was lying. Are they lying now or were they lying then?
I don’t know either way as I haven’t heard the tape
Well said, and resides in the minds of many - even those who have not the ability to say it as well as you. Thank you.
