We have a society where no politician can hope to achieve high office without the patronage of the wealthy “donor class”. The donor class controls both parties, for its own benefit.
They are terrified that somebody might get into the Oval Office who owes NOTHING to “The System”, who does not need the money of “The System”, and who might (once in office and with the authority to investigate what’s really going on) decide to expose the The System.
That is why I’m for Trump. That’s why I’m concerned for his personal safety.
Cruz may be a good man, but he is dependent upon the System for his funding. His wife is an executive at Goldman Sachs, which is part of the inner core of the system, and regardless of his personal beliefs, his campaign and personal fortunes are dependent upon the financial support of the System.
Good post. I believe the elected officials have let us down. I cannot express how mad a lot of us are about their lazy ineptness of the downward spiral they have taken us. They just flat out lie and make more excuses for themselves. They keep telling us to vote this time and they’ll make it better. How many years does it take to do everything or for that matter some of we wanted them to do and still did nothing. These last 8 years or more have been a failed republican party.I’m ready for Trump. I agree with your post. Let’s kick the republican party to the curb as they’ve done to US! Thanks again for your post!

Depressingly spot on.
In between the time the GOP is destroyed and a new party is built from the ground up, Democrats will seize control of both houses of Congress and be able to stack the Supreme Court. They'll invent new Constitutional rights/doctrines that cannot be reversed by the Democratic process.
And if they gain control of both branches and the Presidency, they'll legalize and grant fast-track citizenship to illegals. The new party will be swamped before it ever gains electoral traction. And before someone claims that Republicans will do that anyway, remember that the Gang of 8 bill did not pass.
You cannot get rid of the GOP in Congress overnight, or before an opposition/replacement is ready to go. And that's got to happen on a seat-by-seat basis, not by "let's throw the bums out and then worry about what happens next afterwards."
The left will drive through that window of opportunity, and there will be no chances left to stop them.
