He didn’t technically pull the race card, but his Ferguson, MO comments were well short of accurate. Wasn’t impressed with his reaction to the Iowa primary, either.

OTOH, I do believe he’s a basically good guy, and he certainly gave me a chuckle a time or two. I was a big fan of his going into this race, and I’m still a fan. I do think he was in over his head more than once, though.
