They had Kasich beating Cruz, when Cruz ended up nearly tripling Kasich’s support.

I still say a Pete Sessions endorsement would have done a lot of good for Cruz.

Had Cruz not shut down the govt in 2013, Democrats would have swept the Senate in 2014. Eric Holder would not be sitting in the vacancy of Justice Scalia, confirmed immediately by a Democratic senate. The Republic would be over.
