I believe you. Ted is a first hand source. Where else do you think Ted gets all of his PAC money.

It doesn’t matter if you are for Cruz or Trump. He’s right, especially wrt evangelicals.

Evangelical republicans have, effectively, been the counterpart to the African American wing of the dem party. We’ve been on the republican plantation for too long. They have stacked the deck, and told us to sit down and shut up, one too many times. Their attitude has been for too many years “where are they going to go?”

The GOPe hasn’t been helpful, at all, in the culture wars. Many religious people feel the social values war has been lost. Why should we continue to help those who have sold us out?

FINALLY, they are reaping what they have sown!

It would be interesting to learn more about why billionaires are against some of the core values of this country ( and its major faith traditions). Just curious. You’d think that maybe billionaires would be more conservative or at least wouldn’t care to put up their money pushing such non- fiscal issue positions down everyone else’s throats. ( amnesty aside, if they hire s lot of illegal aliens)

He has a point....there used to be a class of small donors to the GOPe, including myself, but no more. Funny how being stabbed in the back, outright lied to and having elections fixed turns off the base voters. Go figure.

Cruz has made two really big mistakes— associating with Glen beck and choosing Rube over Trump if it came down to those two....

Cruz = Trojan horse

Cruz is pretending he is outside the Establishment.

Cruz worked for George W. Bush Administration along with his wife.

He is WITH the Establishment.

Cruz’s is only there this election to siphon conservative votes from the non Establishment candidate. He was only there to help Jeb.

Remember Cruz worked for George W. Bush. It was Cruz who suggested John Roberts for the U.S. Supreme Court. Another Trojan that fooled most conservatives. Why has Cruz NEVER MENTIONED during his rallies, debates, etc.. that he and his wife worked in George W Bush Administration?

It was his wife that worked with Condi Rice to help make the case for the war in Iraq. It was his wife that helped negotiate U.S. China trade policy where we still pay tariffs and China does not. It’s where China is allowed to manipulate their currency to make it harder for us to sell them anything.

The country really does not know who Cruz was prior to the US senate run Gee who does that sound like????

This explains a lot and why I believe Ted Cruz is a Bush Trojan horse at a bare minimum.

Conservatives have always been told, no 3rd party, we must take control of the Republican Party.

Conservatives that don't already support Trump, will with few exceptions, overwhelmingly support him in Nov. over Hillary.

Record turnouts with most all voting straight party ticket will give the house and senate numbers they have never seen before.

The next step will be new leadership in the Senate, House & RNC.

Democratic donors, Cruz said, don't hate the liberal base...

I challenge that notion.

After Tuesday Ted should suspend his campaign, out the GOPe and support Trump. If so he has a chance to be relevant going forward. The GOPe will never let him inside unless he totally cases and shuts up and then only as a tool to fool conservatives.

Trump know exactly what the game is and he is the ONLY one with the independence to do what has to be done.

I liked Cruz but I know longer see any path by which he can win the nomination. He will probably win his home state Tuesday and could win one more if things fall right. Otherwise he will,be second or third. After Tuesday he has very few possibilities. And none with meaningful delegates.

Cruz can help drive the final stake in the GOPe heart and have real influence going forward. If not he will fade into history over the next decade.

That's where Cruz and Trump agree. The donors may hate the base, but they think the base doesn't hate them. The base hats them with a fury that grows each time they try to buy a candidate the nomination for POTUS. These king makers and their consultants like Karl Rove are seeing their gravy trains about to come off the rails.

Our ‘donors’ need to back democrats. We can win without them and without their money. Then maybe we can turn the FBI on to the corruption and ‘legal’ bribes that keep Washington as one of the most corrupt cities in the world.
