Well, im pretty sure people were killing each other long before that... and probably over just as stupid of stuff as this.
Wow! A whole FOURTEEN years in the slammer for murder. Probably out in about five or seven on probation...because he didn’t try to burn the warden to death. What a tough sentence. /s
It looks like he may get that 'free, happy life' he wanted. He just needs to wait 14 years. But in 14 years his girlfriend and his baby will still be dead. I just don't understand these Leftist European ideas of justice. The maximum sentence for murder is 20 years. No life in prison and no death penalty. Where is justice for the murder victim?
European socialst "justice" is horrific for the victims and their families. Whenever the U.S. edition of the UK Daily Mail runs a story about an American murderer getting a life sentence or the death penalty, the Comments section is full of rueful wishes that their courts would mete out just sentences for brutal crimes like the Americans do.
Allowing the people to be terrorized by criminals is just another marxist trick to control the population through fear. I really hope UK exits the European Union, which there is pressure to do after Merkel decided to annihilate Europe all by herself.
It's hard for us Americans to realize just how unfree Europe has always been in contrast to our system -- they have always been ruled by elites, kings and popes -- it's why our brave pilgrims and Founders left. And so many of Europe's remaining brave men were removed from the bloodlines by WWI and WWII. Freedom isn't free. How I hope Amercans will wake up this November and take back our Constitution and defend it vigorously.
“Our whole society has told God to leave.
So He left.
And Satan moved in.”
That’s the truth. I have lived long enough to witness it. This country hit a new low when Democrats booed God in Congress. We are living on borrowed time.
The US gives just punishment to criminals.
The US serves up justice.
