CRUZ/S new campaign slogan: a hero in the right time.

He does look rather dashing in his Mountie uniform.

Too funny that Cruz is the only smart one of the "anti-establishment guys" who understands that you have to take Rubio OUT if he or Trump hopes to win the White House and beat the GOPe.

If EITHER of the "anti-establishment guys" go out first....Rubio WINS because the media fostered animosity between Cruz and Trump will almost guarantee a large portion of their supporters will either stay home.....or push Rubio over the top for "pay back".

Don't say you haven't noticed how many people here have gotten so mad that they've said they would NEVER VOTE for the "other" guy..............and they sure weren't talking about Rubio. LOL

Of course they split the vote. Trump gets 35% of the vote and wins, which I have no problem with that is how it works, but the 60+% that didn’t vote for Trump was divide among all the others.

The question now is how many of those who didn’t vote for Trump second choice is Trump I would say not many, more importantly how many of them have been so turned off by Trump and his supporters would rather vote for the Anti-Christ than vote for Trump?

Trump is a type of person you either like or hate there is very little middle ground.

If it wasn’t for Trump, Cruz would be 3rd or 4th and fading. He might have a shot in Texas but other than that, at this point, all of us conservatives would be in despair and fighting over whether we could support Rubio or Kasich or whoever the GOPe had gotten to the top. (Not me, by the way).

Rubio should be a non starter for everyone. It’s clear he just talks a good game and does whatever he wants once in power. The gang of 8 thing is the only real example anyone should need to know that he’s just another politician. When will voters learn?

These headlines are sounding more and more bizarre.

Cruz took third in SC and claimed immediately that he had “made history”. It was very disappointing to see him spinning like a typical politician. Wish he would have owned up to it.

Cruz thinks he can talk his way in or out of anything, and he sounds more and more ridiculous the more one hears him start spinning whenever he flip/flops on a position, or something doesn’t go as planned. I think he let all the debate championships go to his head.

Rubio had all the advantages ... and still lost

That's because Trump has NBC privilege.

Cruz had over 300 pastors endorse him in, covering every county in SC. The Cruz Super PAC hired hundreds of people for the Cruz Army to go door to door. Cruz spent big on ads. Plus, SC is heavily Evangelical, which is supposed to be his demographic. I’d say that those are some pretty big advantages, but yet, he came in 3rd, didn’t win a single county, and got ZERO delegates for all of his time, effort, and expense. That has to really hurt. I’ve read that he is running low on money, and some of his big donors are reluctant to donate more since he lost so big in SC, which was supposed to be his kind of state.
