“This is probably the last Presidential election we have a chance to win for about twenty-eight years, when the sons and daughters of our many immigrants will become mainly affluent Republicans.”

Don’t bet on that result. First, my grandparents’ generation were all immigrants...and most of their prosperous kids were Dems (not my parents, though)...and most of their prosperous grandkids are also Dems. You forget the impact of the brain-washing that occurs in our schools and via the media.

We have to win this election to slow the immigrant wave down - if for no other reason than to give natural born citizens a better opportunity, but also to be able to digest them (i.e. assimilate them) into our culture. The problem with most Hispanic immigrants (and I know many) and the vast, vast majority of Moslems, is that they not only don’t want to assimilate, they actively oppose it. That’s not immigration, that’s an invasion.

Seriously, take the blinders off.

There is nothing conservative about TPA and the Corker Bill. Both of which your career politician Cruz voted for. And yes voting for the cloture was voting for TPA. Without Cloture, the bill would have died.

Trump never supported an increase of H-1B visas. Cruz did.

Trump has been talking about the bad Trade Deals the US has made while Ted Cruz was still in High School.

Well it would be less “conservative” but it would probably be a lot wiser!

In one week, the American military could obliterate this murderous sect from the face of the earth. But Barack Obama seems to have a peculiar aversion to fighting the enemies of America, hence the rise of this homicidal cult and the escalating threat it poses to our country.

I'm Trump all the way, but this critique of "Obama" appears short-sighted.

Starting with the Korean People's Army in 1950, Presidents Truman, Eisenhower, Kennedy, Johnson, Nixon, Carter, Reagan, Bush I, Clinton, and Bush II could ALSO have eliminated our enemies from the face of the Earth, if not in a week, in a few.

But none of them have done this.

The root cause of "we don't win anymore" is way, way deeper than "Obama", in fact, "Obama" is much more effect than cause.

The root cause of our smashing victories in WW II (and in the case of Germany, "we" includes the USSR) was racial and ethnic hatred.

"Kill Japs, kill Japs, kill more Japs - you will help to kill the little yellow bastards if you do your job well" - FADM William F. Halsey.

"We're Gonna Have to Slap the Dirty Little Jap" - Popular Song 1942.

Don't get me started on the fate of the Eastern Germans.

For reasons not clear to me, our leaders - both parties, "liberal" and "conservative", and our generals and admirals, have ruled out this effective and historically supported technique and replaced it with using the armed forces to "send a message". The message, perfected by 1967, was "See us take casualties, that proves we're serious. But, see, we don't hate you and won't conquer you, because we're not mean".

Why would I want to defeat the Leftists with a liberal Republican?

You can stay in your 1850s thinking of what the government “should” be doing. Reality is it's doing a lot more than just these two things and Trump may talk about taking down some of it and reforming some of it, but he's going all in on the expansion of Medicare/Aid.

There are other things he's waffled on over the years but the fact that he thinks people “are dying in the streets” and he needs to solve for that makes him a RINO at best and a nuisance at worst.

He's not the only National Security candidate just as he's not the only person who loves the country.

When you think for yourself, the world opens up to you.

Good Post. I’m right there with you. The other candidates can’t hold a candle to Trump.

And the only candidate that I thought might be more conservative, Cruz, has demonstrated honesty issues that cause me to question all of his stated positions. Not that it mattered, because I had already determined he was incompetent on the economy, had no foreign policy experience, no large organizational experience, and was not electible in the general.

Lemme tell ya sonny, if Reagan could see the state of this decades long epic disaster created by career politicians/lawyers in the federation of frauds, he’d be 100 percent behind Trump at this point.

Trump is gonna jackstraw saddle you, boy, and ride you off into the sunset of victory going YEE HAW.

I mean it... I haven’t seen a phenomenon like this for dozens of coons’ ages.

Yeah he’s an ass. Balaam’s ass. Is he perfect? No. But! He hates the hypocrites. Like you. And hypocrites have been a big thorn in America’s flesh, both right and left. America’s gonna love him dearly before this is all over.

Exactly. I agree completely.

Everyone in DC gets owned. Conservatives too. Our parchment, our Constitution, is in the frog pot of warming water. We need a Donald Trump. And he is the only one.

The uniparty is against Cruz, too, and against him well before it was against Trump.

I think the Uniparty fears Cruz can’t be bought, or that they will have to do extreme measures to get him aboard.

Donald is like, why don’t we just dump out the contents of this pot?

And everybody is like: what? That breaks all the rules! We’ve forever had this pot and this water! How un-American!

.
Since you have no understanding of the issues you hang out there, only popping them in because another troll did, it is hard to even begin to show you your error.

The Corker bill is going to be useful when President Cruz takes office. It is the direct enabler to lawfully ending the Iran ‘deal.’

I know that you have no idea why that is so, thus making this so much more fog in your brain; so be it.

Cruz did not support any increase in H-1b Visas; he used that amendment to kill the Gang of 8’s amnesty bill.

Again, I realize that such information is beyond your cognition, and again, so be it.

Trump was fully supporting the people that made the bad trade deals with huge contributions before Cruz was in High School.

Yes, he has you fooled, but I doubt that it was a task of great difficulty.

Here is the question that Anderson Cooper asked Trump minus Cooper’s speech stumble where he kept correcting himself in the middle of the question. Here is the question that he asked Trump. “If Obamacare is repealed and there is no mandate for everybody to have insurance...why would an insurance company ensure someone with pre-existing conditions?”

So, Cooper clearly defined the mandate in his question. He defined it as the “mandate for everybody to have insurance.” Doesn’t this make it clear that when Trump said he liked the mandate he was talking about the “mandate for everybody to have insurance”
