I know a couple of "conservative" gays that say the same thing. "Other than being gay", they are conservative. They even believe that gay marriage was a meaningless battle that was meant more to hurt religious conservatives than it was meant to help gays.
But yet gays are so “Tolerant.”
I asked the correct question. You should have read naps post that was removed on another thread. Discourse has become hateful. This used to be a thoughtful place with reasoned arguments until emotion took over. And there's all kinds of excuses for it but the bottom line is an emotional lack of self-control.

So a body and mind disagree as to gender, and we belive it’s the body that’s wrong?

you know, this is just a good way of pointing out how RIDICULOUS most of this funny-sex stuff has gotten! Its sick yes, but its also FUNNY .. very very funny! ha!

You are right, the whole thing is silly.
I think that is more a statement that speaks to the people he surrounds himself with. Want more criticism the other way around? Hang around with conservatives.
Many people have a worldview that wealth is owned and held by the government...and it metes it out as it sees fit. They even believe that the government could merely release more wealth to the sheeple, and we’d all be well off. I liken this to the cartoon character Scrooge McDuck, who had a vault full of gold that he refused to share with anyone.
People with this worldview believe that republicans are the Scrooge McDucks of the world, while the democrats are trying to get more out of his vault. If they happen to stumble upon wealth themselves, it seems natural (and even obvious to them) that they switch sides.
IOW, some leftists who manage to get rich believe their own hype enough to conclude that since rich people are republican, they must switch to the GOP.
