I always demand cash in $20s.

I go with $50s, as they are starting to become the new $20. A lot less bulky when attending gun shows as well. :-)

$50's work fine in most places but for some reason the test pen always comes out.

Just think of the things you couldn’t do, or wouldn’t want to do, if every transaction was recorded for review by the government.

Actually, speaking for myself, I can't think of a singe one that I would have done differently. I claim every single penny of income - even when I'm paid in cash for some odd job or other. Not too long ago I sold a personal car for $10,000 and took cash in payment (all in $100 bills).

It presented no problem for me on depositing it, but I did notice in my later bank statement, the bank made two separated deposits out of it, even though I deposited it all at one time - I suppose they did that to avoid some reporting requirement or other, or maybe they just needed cash at another location?! :-)

I have withdrawn minor amounts of cash, which does present problems - mainly because the bank I use never seems to have that much ready cash available.

In a way, through the use of credit cards, Americans have their own "printing press", and the sums currently outstanding are in the trillions. If everyone paid off their CCs at once, it would crash the economy.

I wasn’t thinking about cheating on taxes or buying dope.

I was thinking about things like making a legal person to purchase of a gun, buying ammunition, loading up on prepper food and supplies, etc.
