It has some interest as a control point, yes. The post-debate polls are obviously the important ones.

Cruz came in third in New Hampshire when everyone thought he’d take 5th. New Hampshire is the least religious state in the Union. South Carolina is a whole different kettle of fish.

Maybe so, but the sarc tag was missing. If so - then I apologize, but, after reading that Cruz is the face of God - I just thought it was another unhinged Cruzbot.

Actually I’m a Trump guy, but for me, Cruz is second.
I just don’t think Cruz can win in the general, unless Hillary is behind bars, and it was too late for Biden to get in.

No one is SC (I live in SC) is voting for Pastor-in-Chief, we’re voting for Commander-in-Chief

Tabs interesting: 28% some college, 28% college degree, 23% post grad college. Clearly not “uneducated.”
54% evangelicals. While not broken out, clearly Cruz not winning this group.
80% say “not” Tea Party.

You’ve talked to over four million people? How’d you do it?
To: JoSixChip
We’re still waiting for you to document ONE campaign promise Cruz broke.

Trump has the lowest favorables of all Republicans in January Gallup polling. In all general election polls taken, Cruz does better against Hellary than Trump, beating her most of the time.

I don’t need to talk to 4 million I’ve spent my whole life in SC and know lots of people from all walks of life, having worked in health care, grandfather was a popular Baptist minister, to get the general feel of how this state is going to vote.

Cruz never stopped the Gang of 8
Cruz Bots the House did as the Senate passed it
To: scooby321
It was a movement to stop it and Jeff Sessions and Ted Cruz led the movement.

I'm sorry to keep you waiting, here I'll make it worth your time. cruz said he would stop obama's agenda and spending. cruz has not stopped one penny of spending and actually went out and worked to help obumber implement his agenda. cruz worked very hard to get TPA through congress and was successful. In fact that was the only time cruz showed any successful leadership in the senate. Well, unless you call reading Dr. Suess on the senate floor leadership. And then there was cruz voting for the corker bill to give obumber full congressional backing to negotiate any deal obumber wanted with Iran.

Well, no. It was completed through Sat night so it certainly included some who had seen the debate.
Second, it’s a massive poll: 1200, with a very small MOE 3% (meaning Trump could be at 40.)
Third, it’s right in line with the CBS poll.
Last, every time a bad poll comes out for Cruz the answer is always the same: “well, it didn’t include x that Trump just said/did.”
IT. DOESN’T. MATTER.
