As a Trump supporter I am concerned Trump is so far ahead in the polls. It will get very dirty in attempt to take him down. Huge amounts of money at stake here...cheap labor express....GOP establishment gravy train, foreign govts and so on.
Still think the chances of Trump being assassinated are high.

I am an evangelical Christian conservative, who refused to support Romney or McCain. Trump pays lip service to nothing he is boldly forceful in his convictions.

Trump doesn't need Rubio to win Florida -- Trump will win Florida regardless.
The truth is, Rubio is NOT POPULAR here in FL. Conservatives loathe him, as do Democrats, on different ideological bases, but the same reason: he's a snake.
(That said, Trump does seem to like Rubio, and Rubio hasn't been vicious in attacking Trump. He was actually surprisingly gentle and respectful toward Trump on the Nuclear Triad thing, for instance.)
They will most likely split the evangelical vote in the south. Cruz can’t survive if he’s getting no more than half.

Thank you all for your offers of help to understand. I think I get what he is saying regarding the issues, I’m just not sure that I’m not being sold a line. When the hard-sell comes, I typically and instinctively jerk hard the other direction. I’m picking up some of this out of Trump and his apologists. Plus, as a social conservative, I feel like I’m being told to just shut up and go along for the ride.
We are all freedom-lovers here. I can’t just shut off my skepticism and jump on the Trump bandwagon, especially when my values are being downplayed and ignored at best and assaulted at worst and I feel like I’m being sold a used Ford with 187,000 miles on it. Looks good on the outside, but how’s the transmission? I’m going to very closely consider his positions, but I cannot ignore his former actions either. He may very well be the best of the rest, but I’ll take my time and figure it out.

Interestingly, the number one thing I like about Trump is I perceive him to be a honest man who will do his best to do what he says he will. I can’t say that about anyone else running other than maybe the Marxist running under the Dem ticket.
