FEC regulations are a poor fit for someone paying their own way.
That’s why Trump has to loan himself $$$ and even has to charge himself $$$ to ride on his own plane.
It’s silly but has to be done to play along with regs meant for those who need to fund-raise.
In a general election race, do you picture him self-financing?
Totally, since the RNC will probably hold back and not fund a dime.
He is the winner already, get over it.
Go read the regs yourself and get back to us with your report...lol
Trump likely use public financing for general. That’s about $85 million+ which is more than enough considering how little he spent for primary
Trump hasn’t won the primary yet. Ultimately either Cruz or Rubio will drop out and whoever welds both their voters into a block that will crush Trump.
Iowa, N.H., S.C., and Nevada are all PROPORTIONAL states. The WINNER TAKE ALL states come somewhat later and as things stand now, even combined, neither Cruz nor Rubio are anywhere even vaguely near trouncing Trump.
In all, the billionaire real estate showman - whose improbable front-running campaign for the GOP nomination is centered around the idea that his wealth makes him incorruptible - has lent or donated $12.8 million to his campaign."...
If he tales pubic financing, can he augment that with his own personal money?
I have a hard time believing that anyone could be competitive with only $85 million. OTOH, $85 mil plus his own money could get the job done without any fundraising.
Cruz voters don’t want pro amnesty rubio.
Who does that leave?
Trump is the only other anti amnesty candidate, isn’t he?
It was joke.
Yes, you must do it that way. Loan to your campaign because there are regulations on how you repay.
Personally, while I vastly prefer Cruz’s position on immigration, if Cruz is crushed then I would support Rubio to stop Trump.
Thanks for the clarification.
Here is the link to the year end summaries. Selling election “swag” requires that it run through your election committee, that is why you see the large hat expenditure.

Thanks for keeping us abreast of Trump’s lawful campaign funding. Now, would you also keep us abreast of Cruz’s shady shenanigans regarding campaign funding.
The 'most' is in reference to the 2.6 million raised "beyond Trump's loan." In other words, 10 million came straight from Trump's wallet. 2.6 million came mostly from "small dollar donations." In other words, 20 bucks, 10 bucks, those sorts of donations, in contrast to 500 bucks, or a thousand, or whatever the donation limit is.
You will get your wish...sooner than you think.
