Glenn Beck already apologized for that slanderous lie.
The record speaks for itself and is well documented with a bit of research.
1.Through the majority of his adult life Donald Trump was a Republican or an independent.
Mr. Trump registered for the first time in New York as a Republican in July 1987, only to dump the GOP more than a decade later for the Independence Party in October 1999, according to the New York City Board of Elections.
In August 2001, the billionaire enrolled as a Democrat. Eight years later, he returned to the Republican Party, The Smoking Gun reported.
After only two years as a registered Republican, Mr. Trump left the party again, and in December 2011 marked a box that indicated, “I do not wish to enroll in a party.”
Mr. Trump returned to the GOP in April 2012, The Smoking Gun reported.
I do not find it difficult to understand him having become disgusted with the Republican party for a time. The important part is he returned and is putting his time and money to work on America’s behalf.
2. Donald Trump’s change from pro-choice, never pro abortion, was in 2000. He was on an interview and felt pressured into saying that he wouldn’t support criminalizing late abortions. He has stated that after the interview he realized he had said something at odds to his beliefs and publicly set the record straight.
A lot of men have been cowed by the feminazis into the “my body my choice” position. They are so virulent that some men just cede the field to them.
Since that time Trump has become more strongly pro life as the years went on, part of which he has attributed to the experiences of a close personal friend.
Trump was unaware of the things Planned Parenthood were actually doing and as soon as he saw the videos; said PP was monstrous and should be defunded. Trump originally said that if PP served other women’s health issues that part could be funded. PP is very vocal in claiming they are for women’s health, mammos and such but they are liars. Trump’s position after he got up to speed on that situation was that the funds should be directed to other health care facilities. http://www.ontheissues.org/Celeb/Donald_Trump_Abortion.htm
3. Eminent Domain is the law of the land. If we don’t want it as a Nation we need to change the law not attack people who make use of a legal path.
4. Trump has explained many times how Mexico will pay for the wall. Mexico make a great deal of $$$ in trade with the USA. We will extract it as part of a treaty, we have plenty of leverage.
5. Only an idiot thinks he/she can govern without making deals with the other side. We have had terrible deal makers in the last several administrations which is why nothing can get done. People like Reid/Pelosi are relatively easy to deal with if you have the carrot and the stick, their greed and their skeletons. Trump understands how to leverage to get deals in America’s interest. Right now billions are being wasted with no benefit to America. A few million to Pelosi’s library I can live with if it get the wall built, immigration fixed, the military strong, the vets taken care of etc.
The problem with the Trump bashers are not intellectually honest. They ignore the history & the facts to throw mud frantically in the hope it will stick. No man is all good or all bad. Trump’s honesty, disdain for sacred cows, wiliness, strength of purpose, determination, and most of all his love of America make him the man to get America back on track.
Why should he bother? Cruz has been hiding behind him this whole season. Cruz has changed his positions to copy Trump time & time again.
Now Cruz wants to make himself look like an “A team” player and gain importance by facing off against Trump. Cruz needs to get his own house in order. I have lost so much respect for him since he began running for President.
I thought it was a gimmick before, but it seems that Trump really is afraid of debates.
An awful lot of lies to debunk in one pot...
Trump was most definitely an Obama opponent. In fact, he aligned himself with fringe conspiracy-minded factions of the Republican Party by questioning the President’s place of birth and, by extension, his eligibility for office. Those statements earned him a presidential roasting in 2011.
Just after Obama clinched the 2012 election, Trump posted a series of tweets making clear what he thought of the result. He alleged voting irregularities, decried America’s electoral college system and even called for “revolution”:
Okay, let’s just write off every voter who had qualms about Iraq and concede the election right now.
Yea right. You win 6 debates and then you are just terrified of the 7th. I’ve seen that lots of times.
Instead why not read it as “these debates demean the process, the candidates and the Presidency. I’m not going to buy into this travesty and I’m going to expose it for what it is. I can do something much more authentic and meaningful with my time and the time of the voters.”
If the other candidates had been men of principle they all would have walked. Then perhaps the next time there would have been an actual debate about the issues and the candidates ideas/records instead of a gottcha reality TV show.
Thanks for the correction.
Here it is: Donald, then a Democrat, crossed over and went with McCain after Obama named Biden his running mate. He had been backing Hillary in the primaries, and declined to speculate as to whom he would support if Obama had named her to his ticket.
He turned into an Obama cheerleader after Obama was elected.
BTW it’s not “slander” when people accept corrections. But, you probably know that and are following your mentor’s example of how to make friends and influence people.
Thanks for the graffiti.
You know Beck did APOLOGIZE for spreading the Trump-voted-for-Obama LIE.
So should we believe the words of the left-leaning “Smoking Gun” or our lying eyes?
So he ducks Hillary too?
Donald does not do well in debates. He doesn’t do well in confrontation at all. Thin skinned and no coherent positions.
He could debate Cruz in a formal debate, not the press format, if he wished. He is afraid to do that.
Really interesting how you can make someone sound when you take fragments out of context. I expect you forget that after Obama was elected many encouraged giving him a chance, since he was the people choice. Rush took a lot of heat for saying he wanted Obama to fail because his aims would damage America.
The meme at pervading at the time was to be a good sport and give him a chance. Trump speaks well of people until they give him reason to do otherwise. Bonhomie is one of his stocks in trade. Many framed Obama as a great orator, even on the Republican side. I never bought the kool-aid in any regard and in my America we have had no President for 7 years.
On Trump saying Obama has accomplished a great deal in getting elected I am reminded of the words of Olivander..”We do not speak his name! The wand chooses the wizard, Mr. Potter. It’s not always clear why. But I think it is clear that we can expect great things from you. After all, He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named did great things. Terrible! Yes. But great.”
I think the first 6 debates show that Trump can hold his own. I see no reason for him to accommodate Cruz’s request but lots of reasons for Cruz to ask for the recognition.
I get such a kick out of the people that keep saying Trump has no coherent positions. All it takes is a small investment of time to read Trump’s position statements. None of the other candidates has as well researched and documented information.

You make baseless claims.
Pity.
The game is being played way over your head. This IS the debate. Trump already won.

These Cruzers always want more. Trump has beat Cruz in all the debates. Cruz lost last night...big time.
