What’s really sad is she’s supposed to be a recent convert to Catholicism. (Isn’t she? Someone please confirm that I’m not mixing her up.)
The Catholic Church incessantly uses “the Body of Christ” for things other than Jesus’ resurrected corpse. (So incessantly that I’m force to use the unfortunate term, “corpse” because just about any other word I try to use has other meanings.)
I understand. “PC load letter” still freaks me out.

Back in the early 2000s I used to read her columns, but as we approached the 2008 election cycle her article got very center-right, then center, then just plain left. She was trying to be chosen as a right-wing pundit, of course, she wanted to appeal to the left. In 2008, she was ALL IN for Obama! No ifs, ands, or buts....just all in! When readers commented about her stand with with Obama, she was indignant that a conservative might be scrutinized for supporting a democrat, missing the greater question about his bonafides, his identity, his qualifications for the job, etc. She is all in with the left now, so why do they still have her on as a “conservative” voice?

most liberals don’t understand the nature of Islam and they equate Crist and Mohamed as being the same spiritually as far as the message the two bring. I am not surprised she has no understanding of the term ‘Body of Christ” My bet is that the only time she ever got any spiritual training is when she was a kid and spent the night at a friends house and was taken to church the next day.
