I’ve no problem with that at all ;)

I think a couple of things come around from a Cruz presidency that help us all:

1. Given how he thinks about the constitution, any number of useless, entrenched bureaucracies and agencies are likely dead when he gets into office. They may be “funded”, but a president can get rid of any number of dead weight groups. Part of why Cruz was unpopular with fellow Republicans was that he made a study in how to get rid of these fiefdoms.

2. Constitutional judges. This is the biggest concern, IMO. We are one vote away from a catastrophe on the supreme court.

along with the illegal immigration issue, those 2 issues above are huge and likely the biggest for us. Which candidate will do the best with all 3 issues? That’s the question to me.

Don’t you just love the deep thinking Trumpsters that say we need a dictator to return the country to the way it was not having the slightest clue they are talking about the country the way it was before the Revolutionary War.

I am a Trump supporter, but I am NOT against Cruz. I am not looking forward to Trump-Cruz conflict, but I look at it like this. Trump has sent all the GOPe contenders packing and into to single digits. This is something Cruz would have never been able to do. Not because of his abilities, but because of the landscape and GOPe fixing. So Trump has been the crash truck and Cruz is smartly hiding in his shadow, drafting him into the leading spots. Now the Cruz-Trump slug out will have to happen. If Cruz can overcome Trump, then he’ll be my choice, but for Cruz to do this will need to acknowledge Trump’s amazing smash up of the GOPe usual tricks that would have kept Cruz out of the running. Remember the GOPe plan was to squeak Jeb through with 15-20% shares in the primaries. Bottom line is that Cruz, if he wins, will owe his victory to Donald Trump and to Trump supporters and if he overcomes Donald Trump, then no one will be able to say he won’t be able to take on Hillary. It’s a tough spot to be in! My preference s for Trump to win and he pick Ted Cruz as his running mate to serve as his Constitutional conscience. 4-8 years of Trump and then 4-8 years of Ted Cruz should remake the landscape.

Day one, all of the executive orders propping up Obamacare and giving exemptions to special interests can be repealed.

It takes a special kind of stupid not to understand either that the new president has that authority or that doing so effectively ends Obamacare.

No, I dont.

That one poster can want that, but they aren’t going to get it.

But to extrapolate that out to that being the desire of Trump supporters is as stupid as me saying that all Cruz supporters want a theocracy when some keep boasting about Cruz’s very visible Christin faith and how that affects so many of his political positions.

Why not just also agree with the left when they find one conservative to say something racist as proof that we are all part of the KKK.

The president was designed to be the representative of all the people, that is why he is the only person that everyone across the nation votes for.

The president's main function is to protect and defend the Constitution.

George Washington did something never before done when he solemnly raised his hand during his Oath of Office completing the act of asking God to preside over this nation that was instigated at the signing of the Declaration of Independence.

The president must understand his role of being keeper of the Covenant.

He is not the CEO of the nation.

The only person who truly understands the true role of the president is Ted Cruz.

“It’s a rare appeal to pragmatism from a candidate who typically stokes the conservative id.”

This guy evidently doesn’t understand conservatives at all.

If Trump wins the nomination you might want to get used to saying President Clinton.

Do you really believe these other candidates supporters are going to support Trump?

If Hillary didn’t want Trump as the nominee Hillary’s allies in the MSM wouldn’t be covering him.

He would be ignored and forced to spend his own money to get his message out.

Trump doesn’t have the roughly $1 billion in cash necessary for a campaign so he would have to turn to outside money.

Mr. Outsider Trump then becomes Mr. Insider Trump.

Hillary will step on him like a bug.

“No, I dont.”

You wouldn’t, but then again you are a Trump supporter.

Nice try but it’s not a joke.

The fact other Trumpsters are silent about it is very telling.

President = Chief Executive.

CEO = “Chief Executive Officer”

So yes, he is just that.

“If Hillary didn’t want Trump as the nominee Hillary’s allies in the MSM wouldn’t be covering him.”

He is the front-runner, and the press wants readers and ratings.

The one they want is Cruz, that’s why you have no national media effort to go after him like they have Trump.

“He would be ignored and forced to spend his own money to get his message out.”

And why would he be ignored when he is pulling in massive amounts of support?

“Trump doesn’t have the roughly $1 billion in cash necessary for a campaign so he would have to turn to outside money.”

And you know this how?

With all due respect, it is Cruz that will go into the general election without the cash that Clinton will be able to launder, and will have to take matching funds. The irony wont be lost of his opponents once he does.

“Mr. Outsider Trump then becomes Mr. Insider Trump.

Hillary will step on him like a bug.”

And Mr. Cruz will beat Hillary because [insert magic reasons here].
