They weren’t simply “reminiscent” of the stars worn by Jews. It was clearly an unmistakenly intended to equate the extermination of Jews by the Nazis with the treatment of Muslim women by Americans in the U.S. Never mind the repugnance of such a sentiment, it’s clearly moronic. I wouldn’t want someone this stupid in the room with me either.
