It has become clear to me that nearly all the world’s bad guys of the last 40 or so years.... the Sha of Iran, Qaddafi, Putin, Milosevic, Assad, Saddam, etc. were ALL actually fighting against these demons.
And all the atrocities they supposedly committed against innocent civilians was just a bunch of BS leftist propaganda.
They were all fighting against these radicals and were doing what HAD to be done to win.

Good point. Everything with Trump starts with the Art of the Deal. I bet you anything that Putin and everyone else is reading his books like flies one fly paper.
You start with a premise that on the outside sounds ridiculous. We’re going to build a wall and make Mexico pay for it. We’re going to take the oil etc. It’s a starting point. Iraqi’s say “no” then you must be prepared to “walk” or do something to leverage the deal. If you have no leverage, if you don’t have something the other side wants bad enough they’ll tell you to pound sand.
I’m not sure if we have a leverage at the moment. Sounds like we could have at one time even with Assad, but not sure now, unless you could say “We’ll go in, beat the bad guys for you, but we expect a cut of the oil reserves.”
This is so un-American for our generation (ie since 1950 on) that it’s strange, but not to someone like Trump.
For example, someone asked him are you for the Keystone Pipeline. You’d expect him to say, “Sure, I’m 100% for it.”
He didn’t say that, he added a twist to it that separates him from the pack and shows why he’s a special candidate and “might” be a great president, (notice I say “might”, because no ones knows.)
He says, “Yeah I’m for Keystone, but I think before I would approve that, I’d like to see what we’re getting from the deal. What’s in it for us? Maybe we need to tack on a few bucks per barrel, on top of what they’d be paying if they’re paying anything. Odds are, our gov’t gives out easements with little in return. I don’t know.
Trump knows something else, that’s pretty fundamental. Who has more leverage over you Don-O, the guy who owes you $100,000,000 or you, the guy that the money is owed to?
I believe you are.
