Timing. It’s all timing As long as there is a democrat in WH to pardon criminals there are some cases that will not be filed (Remember the Jewish community who bought their pardons from the Clintons with votes)

But there was a republican in the WH just 7 years ago and there had been one there for the 8 years before that...coincidentally around the same time trump was still a D. He had his billions then, he had his media acumen then...so why didn’t he fight all that corruption instead of just going along...if he’s a man of such high character?
He can’t wiggle out of that. I just wish the trumpeters would stop offering the “NY was run by democrats, he had to pay them off” as an excuse, because it’s much more of an indictment if he is all that they say he is....or perhaps he’s not all that they say he is....perhaps.
Why Democrats win. They will vote for the person put forth. This is the first time we have had a chance to defeat the John McCains, Lindsey Graham’s Mitch Romney’s since Ronald Reagan. Let’s do it. They need an awakening.
Our perceptions of what is real and good are quite different. I do not blame him for divorcing his first wife. He could not tolerate her “habits.” I have known people I loved dearly who did not divorce and totally destroyed each others lives because they stayed together. Their children were seriously affected as well. If Trump was such a horrendous father how on earth did his children turn out so well? How about his grandchildren who obviously adore him? With some people a marriage just does not work out. To say otherwise and play the pure Puritan is to be way out of the mainstream of reality. Trump doesn’t smoke, drink, or do drugs. You say he is no better than Hillary who probably does all three, but at the very least drinks too much...even to having drinking bouts with men!
I am not looking for a cast-iron “Conservative” because there is no way such a creature could win the election. I am looking for a winner which Trump is PROVEN to be throughout his life, and someone who can and WILL correct some of the grave injustices brought by the liberals against the American people. He WILL build the wall and he WILL apply something that has been a long time missing from Washington that is called COMMON SENSE! On top of that he understands the economy. He WILL change the trade deals which are destroying us. And I can double guarantee Sharia Law will not gain a foothold in America under Trump. I do not trust ANYONE ELSE on those matters. A strong military, care for our Veterans, all the major issues which are only mealy mouthed about by the other candidates, and the 2nd Amendment will not be in jeopardy nor the 1st Amendment under Trump. Cruz doesn’t have the knowledge, backbone, or will to do these things. He is just another politician after all.

Not really. I will leave the Republican Party if they pull any shenanigans about the primaries. At this point in time we only have a uniparty in Washington. I want a fighter who can bring back at least some of the America I loved.
I respect your opinion and thank you for a courteous,thoughtful response. I absolutely believe you are wrong. But that and a couple of bucks will get me a cup of coffee.
I do ask one thing of you though. When you’re lying in bed tonite (headed there myself right now!) please give thought to the fact that you just created an excuse for a man to cheat on the mother of his children...you justified that. That is about the most abominable act a man can do. And you rationalized it. And I say that with all respect and without malice.
I judge the man by the things he has done privately to help people in need. The assistance he has given to people and to projects that needed his help go back twenty-thirty years. He did not ask for credit nor publicize his generosity. The stories are numerous and continual. The man’s heart is in the right place and that counts more with me than pure as driven snow politicians who lie out of habit and only think of their own careers.
But what happens if Trump is the nominee after all is said and done...will you vote Trump to keep Hil out of the WH?
