I find it strange though, that the quote is from second sentence in first paragraph.

The quote is found past the headline, however, so feel free to admit that your accusation that I didn’t read past the headline was baseless and you were wrong.

the whole point of my response was to point out that the republicans were about to let him get away with another unlawful endrun around congress- when they should look him in the eye and tell him that if he does this and violates the second amendment, he WOULD face impeachment - I do not see any candidate with the guts to declare he should face impeachment- I read the article- read beyond the headlines even- and saw that the establishment was just like ‘ho hum- oh well- it’s illegal, but we’ll just undo it when we gain power’ instead of doing what NEEDS to be done and stopping this illegal nonsense in it’s cold in it’s tracks

Exactly! Just like ryan’s betrayal with the omnibus - he gave dear leader EVERYTHING dear leader wanted, but now he’s ‘going to send a bill to defund planned parenthood’ now that the damage is done? He knows damn well the bill will be vetoed, and that the right will not get enough voted for a veto-proof majority- and you watch- ryan will now say “See- we tried to stop the funding, but golly, the left wouldn’t allow it”

Yep. Those brave GOP warriors will "fight it" just like they "fought" the funding of Planned Murderhood, massive Islamic and illegal immigration, and amnesty.
