Ted Cruz:
“But we don¢â¬Ët have a constitutional right to use force and violence and to threaten force and violence against others.”
You:
Uh....Ted...time to go back and read up on the Founding Fathers’ reasons for the 2nd Amendment.
You basically had a problem with Ted Cruz's statement that we dont have a constitutional right to use force and violence and to threaten force and violence against others.
So I asked you if you'd be happy for a bunch of rough and ready boys from the hood to use force and violence to seize your property. It's simple enough.
Yes, and you still didn't get it even after referring back to my post. Perhaps you should do a very thorough and comprehensive study of the 2nd Amendment, the background of how this became a part of the Bill of Rights and all the Founders' reasons for the right of the people to keep and bear arms. Then, objectively read Ted Cruz' statement. Then, perhaps, you might see the error in this esteemed Constitutional Scholar's statement...and I don't mean that as mockery. The point is, Ted Cruz knows better and has accurately asserted his understanding of why the 2nd Amendment exists as the Founders' concluded. At best, he phrased his statement erroneously when addressing the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge incident.
