None of this crap is necessary and all of it is about intimidating Americans. They need to profile people and stop molesting little kids, women and old people. This is just Bull $**t and we have that moron GWB to thank for it.

If I had a kid potentially subject to TSA pat-down, I’d prepare the kid so that the instant he/she feels any contact with the private area to scream at the top of their lungs and keep it up non-stop. Might not stop the TSA but it sure would reinforce a later case of molestation.

“ordered to submit”

Sounds like something a dictator would say.

I've been on the receiving end of a TSA "pat down". Was pretty similar to what this girl had to endure. It was ridiculous. I had a bunch of camera and phone stuff in my bag (batteries, camera, wires, etc.), so they swabbed the bag. It came up with a false positive (seems to happen a lot), so I got the full blown, ~7 minute groping from the TSA agent. I suspect the possibility that he was some sort of criminal/deviant was pretty high, but that's what you generally get in government agencies.

Being a white American male at an airport no more than 30 miles from my home, I was unfortunately not surprised to be treated as a suspected terrorist/criminal. Meanwhile, middle easterners who could barely speak English passed right through around me without so much as a glance from TSA. Gee, I feel soooo safe. And this was in Newark airport, from which one of the 9/11 planes took off.

This ain't your father's America...

TSA at security checkpoints have no power to arrest. They can only prevent you from passing thru the security area. They can call the police but you must actually break a law for the cop to arrest you.
Assault, threats, or trying to get past the checkpoint will get you arrested.
You always have an option to call the police if you think you are being threatened or if TSA is sexually assaulting you.
The TSA rules by intimidation, knowing you want to get on your flight and have limited time.

Because there have been sooooo many incidents of sudden jihad syndrome by 10 year old American girls.

Wait, you mean not a single one, ever, in all of our history?

My, the TSA is so useful.

The writer needs to get a life. First no one has to submit to a pat down. You can leave. Not a great option but it’s there. Then post the video but in slow-mo. Then wail and Nash your teeth that your precious had her butt touched.

I saw a male coach pat his girl player on the butt after a great play. He was instantly mortified but the parents laughed it off and said it was just a swat on the butt. They didn’t deify the daughter’s anatomy.

The TSA is nothing but a Federal jobs program for perverts. It should be abolished forthwith — or even firstwith.

The next time you and your family are planning to fly anywhere have all of the females dress in burkas. End of problem.

I’m thinking that they DID profile her because she’s dressed modestly in a long skirt. If she had been wearing tight shorts and a tank top they wouldn’t have fondled her. You are obviously flying while Christian.

Last Monday, trying to fly home from Denver, my 85 year old mother forgot about a Kleenex in her pocket. Yup, her punishment was a full TSA part down. Hours before we had attended my uncle’s / her brother’s funeral! Isn’t pocketed Kleenex standard dress code for 85 year old women???
Give me a break.

If you were a pedophile looking for “enjoyable” work, where would you apply for a job? My guess is that this TSA agent knew the answer to that question.

“TSA attempted to persuade me to allow my daughter into a private room, I felt safer with the general public surrounding us and refused several efforts to whisk us away.”

Smartest thing she could have done in this horrible situation. At least there are cameras and witnesses.

I’m wondering if the 10yr old girls presence ‘caused’ the false positive that ‘necessitated’ the molestation...

Be worthwhile looking at the pc’s and phones of the TSA agents at that checkpoint and see what was there...
