Yes. When it was created, it was a benign organization that was supposed to help the poor in Haiti. Who knew that it was going to be the corrupt set-up that it is now?
Also, he donated mainly to the Democratic senate and congressional campaign committees, not individual candidates, so your carefully parsed answer, while technically correct, leaves out vital information that paints a very different picture.
The poster said Trump donated to Hillary. He didn't. Even if he donated to the Rat PACs that's still not the same.
Yeah, with a Cuban-Canadian-American?
I’ll take a 100% dyed in the wool American called Trump!
I beg to differ. I believe I was the first to coin “trumpeter swans” which trumpeter is obviously just a shorter derivation! ;)
Make America Constitutional again.
I choose Cruz.
JR did, though... LOL! :)
TED CRUZ is a man of character and principle. Ted Cruz has a vision, and lead all the fights against the establishment when Donald Trump was evolving from being a Clinton donor.
TED CRUZ has my vote.
So many times we have taken the blue pill (Paul Ryan as Speaker, Mitt/McCain/Bush as Presidential candidates, Bush Sr. as Vice-President, no real government shutdowns, no pushback on Obamacare not even enforcing its own provisions, etc.)
America needs to take the red pill for once.
Trump is the Red Pill.
These are the same people who silently applauded Thad Cochrane, and the tactics he used to defeat Chris McDaniel. These are the same people who have turned Atlas Shrugged into nonfiction.
Whatever I do for the remainder of my life, it will be focused on what's best for my children and grandchild. I think it was mostly there before, but that's where the laser beam is now pointed.
Now that the wealth has gravitated to crony capitalists, government bureaucrats, entertainers, and professional athletes, all who produce little for the amount of the compensation they receive. I'm beyond the well known, and established reasons for limiting taxes. Now, if you want to lay a 90% marginal rate on incomes over a million, I don't give a flip. Crony capitalists are too busy lobbying for H-1B visas to drive down the cost of their labor...eff them!
So that he can destroy the existing Republican party.
He doesn’t need money.
If the ONLY thing he accomplishes is building a wall and kicking out the existing illegals and Muslim invaders being brought in under our noses, it’s worth voting for Trump.
That’s an existential threat to our nation. Only Trump has the balls to stop it.
You don't understand the ABSOLUTE stranglehold the Left [Uniparty] & its Media machine have on the political process.
Trump is dynamiting their fortress. That's why they're flipping out.
A good example is the column that little pantywaist George sWill [R-Uniparty] wrote this morning.
“I knew that youâd be one of the koolaid drinkers....”
Wow.
I get better rebuttals from leftists and communists on Reddit.
So here is a tip. That type of reply does not work on the left, so if Cruz does win the nomination, I fully predict by July you guys will flood FR with whiny posts of how the left is ganging up on Cruz, how the GOPe is sabotaging him, and the media is being so “unfair”.
So spend some of that “brilliance” you guys seem to think you all have and learn better responses.
Frankly there is NOTHING to rebut but the usual Cruz supporter’s virtue signalling to each other and crybaby posts about “how can anyone support Trump”.
Get together with the Democrats and the GOPe, and you can all spend time together trying to find an answer since you all are in agreement.
Patton was a dope-addicted Neo-Marxist free-love liberal with clown-shoes.
An intelligent, discerning reply.
Shame no one wanted one of those!
At least you tried.
Post something worth discussing. This is just regurgitated drivel.
And you’ve spent 14 years on the wrong site apparently. If you want to support a progressive statist, try DU, or HuffPo. Apparently they love that sort of thing over there.
And perhaps reread JimRobs support for trump. It’s tepid at best. He loves that trump is sticking it to the media and has highlighted certain issues but he acknowledges Trumps substantive shortcomings. Conversely he has been vociferous in his support of Cruz.
Picky, picky, picky. . . .
“The only thing the trumpeters know how to do is attack the messenger. “
Could be because we don’t see any point even listening to people who call us names.
You Cruz supporters are really a piece of work. I have to fight the impulse to dislike Ted Cruz, just because you people support him.
“What is the purpose of your post?”
He’s too needy. :-)
>> I can honestly say I do not know what I would do.
I respect your honesty and candor.
I know exactly what I intend to do.
I back Ted Cruz. We donate to Ted Cruz. We advocate for Ted Cruz among our personal contacts. We pray for GOD’s favor and guidance for Ted Cruz every single day. I will work for Ted Cruz. I will vote for Ted Cruz in the Texas primary, if he is on the ballot.
If Donald Trump wins the nomination, I will purposefully and unreservedly vote for him in the general.
Why?
Because whereas I *suspect* that there is *some chance* that Donald Trump will go back on his campaign promises and turn out to be just another self-serving asswipe...
...I KNOW BEYOND THE SHADOW OF ANY DOUBT THAT SHOULD HILLARY CLINTOON BE ELECTED PRESIDENT SHE WILL RAPE ME, MY FAMILY, AND MY PRECIOUS COUNTRY REPEATEDLY, THOROUGHLY, AND WITH NO REMORSE WHATSOEVER.
I hope I have made my position clear.
FRegards
If they spent more time actually explaining how Cruz is going to “brilliantly” beat Hillary, the GOPe, and the leftest press, rather than making up new childish names from Trump supporters, then they may actually get somewhere.
