Obama’s criticism of Congressional GOPe-rs is the only thing that gives them any cover as any different from RATS. Otherwise they are simply Pelosi’s lackeys. The RATS are still running this show.

Once again our faux tea party freshman rep from Maine (Poliquin, GOPe) voted with the leadership. I really hope he doesn’t make it past his first term.

We, as a Nation, have sold our Birthright, as well as our Freedoms, for the bowl of Government Stew, a/k/a ":freebies", "the Governmental Safety Net", or any other name you wish to call them, a long time ago. A/l/a Esau in the pages of the Holy Bible. The poison has now worked its way, with the predictable results, through the system. We , again, as a Nation, traded our Responsibilities and Rights as Citizens for Governmental comforts and Security.
Each incident in which we have been attacked in our Homeland, instead of dealing with the problem, the sheep have demanded of the Government,"Make us feel secure"! There are too many incidents of idiots waiting in line for the TSA agent to stick his finger up their ass saying when a reporter stuck a camera in his face,"I don't mind it as long as it makes me secure!" to cite here. Prison inmates are very secure. But they are not very free. that is where we are now and will remain for the forseeable future.

I am not trying to excuse the GOP at all. But passing legislation where 39% of your party is against it and you are the majority party speaks volumes about how bad the legislation is and how tone deaf the GOPe is.
90% (of those voting) of the Dems voted for the bill while 39% of the Reps voted against it.

What happened to the GOP wanting to reduce the size and scope of Government?

I am growing more and more surprised at the idea that FR is leaning large for a moderate.

We are leaning large for an outsider. The political class is corrupt and elitist. It ignores the will of the people.

That's it exactly! What we do, how we do it, how many future generations we enslave, doesn't matter as long as we are perceived to be getting things done/workin for the people.

The link provided in post #19 has him as an “Aye”. That is what I was using.
