I don’t think that I take this article very seriously. For one, the Pentagon is full of political military. Promotion is, often, a political event in this administrations tenure. Obama has fired many of the real soldiers that were left.
A mass exodus of politicians in uniform will be a good boost for real soldiers to move up into higher command ranks.
It’s actually excellent news: It’ll save Trump from having to purge these diversity promotions from the ranks!

Obama got rid of the traditional military leaders and substituted them with the PC guys who brought us ‘women in all roles’ and ‘homosexuals in the foxhole’ officers. OK by the USA if they quit.
